Strength of Steel, Will of Iron
It was pretty good. I didn't think it was creepy, but it was rather entertaining.

Merl wasn't thinking very well, after all that fall earlier really joggled his brains. What could he do? He could easily just curve the path if the snow around him, but that would require touching the avalanche and, since it was moving so fast, Merl wasn't too keen on getting his hand blown to bits. Maybe he could create a barrier of snow, but that wouldn't last long.
"Aha," Merl exclaimed.
Looking around, most of the others didn't look like they needed much saving.
"Time to act heroic."
As the mountain top tsunami approached the sorcerer, he started to chant a small rhyme while placing his arms gently on the ground.
"Seall an sneachda,
Seall an sneachda,
Tighinn nuas,
Seall an sneachda
Feumidh mi mo chòta
Seall an sneachda
Tha e fuar
Tha e fuar!"
Just as he finished the last line, a spearheaded pillar of ice and stone emerged from the mountainside, towering over Merl.
The avalanche was upon him, but thanks to his wits and magic he was able to shield himself from impending doom by creating a barrier that curved the path of the snowy storm around him.

No need to be a party pooper, I changed it.One last thing.
Before we break any more of the rules we agreed on, please read the topic on magic in the OOC section.
Example: one rule says we need a way of pulling magic from the stream. The magic bullets break this rule unless we come up with magic catalysts. But you have to turn it into powder, which means you destroy the catalyst. This is a problem we need to solve
WiZ has already used his magic and it worked just fine, which is against a rule we set, namely the fact that thee new stream is different. We did also say that the more magic you draw the more chaotic it will be. Which is why my mask only works if I use one function at a time. I figured that it only requires simple runes and little magic, but when I use more functions at the same time, it requires the activation of more advanced runes and more magic, hence it does not work properly. Treisgar had the same problem. While WiZ just went ahead and broke 2 rules xD
The other rule that has been brojen is magic as a tool. No broad and vague stuff. But he is working on it
Lastly, I am sorry for being so pedantic but I am just trying to enforce the rules we set before it is too late. Otherwise, we could just change those rules, I am open to that too. But until then we need to fix these things
Dragon magic is universal so the twins will have likely no problems.
Writing this has annoyed me, so I expect some of you will be annoyed as well. In my defense....I got nothing sorry

We set those rules so that nobody could God mode, not so that nobody could have a little fun

We made those rules to create a world, not simply as a RP limiter Wiz.We set those rules so that nobody could God mode, not so that nobody could have a little fun

As for my magic bullets I dont really think it broke any rules set previously. If you remember the conversation way back when about when I asked how materials gain magic, we agreed upon that "magical materials" are materials that inately drew from the stream, so in a sense the items themselves are catalysts by default. Like what what Otomos pointed out ealier, it's basically potion making, except the liquids created were designed specifically to be ignited and shoots out bolts of magic. Just grounding materials up into powder doesn't destroy their properties, in fact it's one of th most basic concept of how crude medicines were made. It's a process that can be done with a Pestle and Mortar. I'll admit that simply saying "ignited the vial of magical liquid to cause a magical projectile to occur" is vague on its own right. I do have a tentative explanation idea on how this process happens specifically which incorporates really basic concepts of science, but at the same time I don't think it's necessary to keep on furthering the function to the point of every knook and crany. I love lore, I designed the magelock on concepts that exist in the real world and in fantasy so that there's an acceptable idea of a firearm that doesn't seem so farfethched or vague as "Oh lol magic gun that can shoot magic bullets cuz magic makes it do it," but there's a point where it's pretty difficult why every tidbit of the weapon works. It's a fantasy firearm afterall, and im no gunsmith.
I do agree to you that adhearing to our concept of magic is a must, and that Wiz more or less kind looked over those(no offense buddy), but in the future it's not the biggest deal if tiny details get overlooked. We started with a ruleless world to have ideas be created, we shouldn't snuff them out just because they go against our rules so far. If you think about it our world still isn't really finished to begin with, and I'm open for things to be changed just slightly if our existing rules start constraining the fun we have Rping. That's my two cents, ultimately though it's up to Aliigthy to decide on this
I just don't understand why every little thing has to be shiftedWe made those rules to create a world, not simply as a RP limiter Wiz.
Also I am open for changes too. But will we discuss them first or just go ahead and disregard them as we post? If WiZ came up with a good reason as for why his magic is unaffected I would accept it. But then again, and I cannot stress this part enough, I am not the holy pope of this RP, what I say must be taken in context. I have absolutely no power over what you should or should not post so when I speak I try to voice the majority, if howere the majority disagrees, you can make toilet paper of my opinionAs for my magic bullets I dont really think it broke any rules set previously. If you think it takes little magic to summon a wall and stop an avalanche, as I said, by all means. I am no RP police. Maybe what I think of as advanced is different than what you and everyone else thinks. So let me stress this again, you do not have to obey me, I am not in charge here. Make your case. We will discuss it. All of us. Could I be wrong? ABSOLUTELY YES!I just don't understand why every little thing has to be shifted
Like, I can create boulder monsters, and I would understand why that is unfair if the magic stays the same.
But a lousy wall, @Bernar? like as if that is some horribly advanced magic, wtf? I feel like your just nitpicking, and I'm eating your bait rn
No the only thing with the bullets and magic material that I do not understand is, if you break them to dust, do they still work and why? It is merely a matter of clearing that up. But more because I don't get it, rather than because it breaks rules.
Oh then yeah there's no reason why it shouldn't work. grinding things down to smaller particles is considerably different from breaking them, it's making them finer. Like how plants are grinded up to become an ingredients to medicine. I would think such a concept should still be acceptable for materials that are magical in origin. And I have no problem with your concerns, theyre valid for future referencing as long as ,again, the fun isnt ruined in this.
That makes sense. My thought process was: if they are catalysts, it is either because the particles they are made from are special, and therefore wherever they happen to be they will work as catalysts. For example if water was a catalyst it would work as such whetere it is in a river, a plant, a human body etc...
But if it is a catalyst because of the way those particles form that object, then breaking it would change the way it works. So we can compare these materials to a magnet. You can break it in half and just obtain 2 perfectly working magnets without losing its properties.
