"No," Aqua quickly replied to Abel, glancing away. Although Aqua was more than happy to assist others with their own pain, she didn't like to let hers own show. Ironically, Aqua didn't follow her own advice that she had given Claire. The blue-haired keyblade master was never open and upfront about her pain unless she had to be.

"I mean, well, maybe a little..." Aqua finally admitted, unfolding her hands. She winced looking at the cuts on them. "Guess I'd better heal them, huh? I shouldn't put it off for much longer." Without another word, Aqua's hands glowed a gentle green light. When the light faded, Aqua's hands were healed--not a trace of the cuts from before on them.

Sadly, however, healing her wounds fixed one problem but only created another. Aqua had exhausted a bit too much of her magic. The master had forgotten just how much the use of magic had put a strain on her last time she was in a murder game; and having used three spells in such a short amount of time tired her out. Not to mention, she had already been a bit tired from her late night training session she had at the Coalition before leaving.

Realizing her sudden fatigue, Aqua moved away from the group. "Excuse me," she mumbled, moving away from the others and quickly taking a seat on the ground. Short of breath for a moment, Aqua closed her eyes and said nothing. She just needed to rest for a few minutes.
"A-Aqua, I told you to tell me if you needed to be healed!" Abel chided her, unable to believe that she had hidden her pain. Didn't she agree to let him heal her when he had promised not to waste too much magic? However, it seemed they had a larger problem now. His eyes widened in panic as Aqua began to pale, "Dammit, now you've overdone it instead of me. I thought I was supposed to be the reckless one who outran their energy..."

He sat down next to her, not wanting to leave her unguarded, "Aqua... Please be okay..." He wasn't a newcomer to the idea of magical exhaustion, having seen it during his time in the lockdown. The idea, however, held a deadlier connotation to him. Many of the survivors had been heavy magic user, having a better mental state than physical. While at first giving them a large advantage over the demons, the blessing soon turned into a curse as exhaustion occurred. Soon, many were caught unable to cast another spell and were devoured by some of the more monstrous demons, while other simply keeled over and died of their own relentlessness. Please let her be okay...

Lisa looked at him. "... you're an... Elf?" She'd heard stories of Alfheim, though she doubted that's where he was from.

'Well, we're all still looking forward to seeing your skills on the Battlefield. Still being mysterious about what you are and what you do?' Joseph then looked at Teresa. 'Are you alright, Death Angel?' He felt uncomfortable calling her Teresa-it bought back too many bad memories. Was she still suffering the trauma induced by the Flaming Vortex enchantment he used earlier?

Ridley just gave Joseph a bemused look. "Who says I've got any? Maybe I'm just another helpless damsel in distress," she remarked. She had noticed Teresa's odd disorientation, but didn't really pay it much- if any -mind.

Teresa, on the other hand, wasn't too concerned with the state she was in, either.. Just... Confused. When had she gotten here, again? "Oh.. Yeah, I'm fine, shank," she replied after a long silence, mentally trying to piece what was happening together. Her mind was awfully foggy, for someone usually so sharp..

The Lone Wanderer looked at Legolas. "Not used to enclosed spaces, eh?" He laughed. "It's nothing to be worried about. These things are perfectly safe."

"Yes, I am an elf. Son of King Thranduil, I am of Mirkwood." He stated, out of habit, then realizing she might not be able to understand what those terms meant.

"It would be something I would rather not get accustomed to", he replied. "Safety is not my concern." For now, he just sat and waited until the transport reached its destination.

"I'm sure she's fine. No reason to panic. I'm sure she'll be juuuust fine," Shiki sighed calmly to Abel, running a hand through his hair as the other young man seemed to be in something of a panic in response to Aqua deciding she needed to rest for a bit, "Well, in any case, I suppose we all may as well take a moment to catch our breath. Shall we then? I doubt we'll find anything if we continue walking anyway," he continued, stretching his arms a bit, "Any objections? No? Alright, then."

Max had given a deep, relieved breath as Jon seemed to calm down significantly, the knot of tension in her stomach unwinding like a coil. Thank God. She wasn't sure why, but she felt more comfortable around Jon than she did the rest of the confused, ragtag crew of people gathered in the crumbling ruins of the Big Apple, the obvious exception being Chloe. The act of freeing her leg had sorta made an automatic good impression, and the whole awkward, adorable thing he had going on reminded her of herself in a way. If she were a medieval warrior with a black cape and a sword, obviously.

Plus, the whole hunk thing didn't exactly hurt his standing in the photography student's eyes either, though a thought like that seemed so blatantly shallow at a time like this that she dismissed it from her mind almost immediately. All that mattered was that she could trust him, and she felt she could.

"N-names are a good start," she interjected hastily once the Night's Watch brother started to stammer, flashing a small smile in apology immediately afterwards. "Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt you or anything. Just... seemed like you were struggling. I know that feel. Um, I'm Max. Max Caulfield. My friend with the tats and hair dye's Chloe Price. I travel through time, she gets herself in trouble and I save her. You know. Normal stuff."

She gave a nervous laugh.

"I already know your name. I mean, obviously, since you said it earlier, but... tell me a little about yourself? Can't hurt to start making friends. Who knows how long we'll be here..."

Or what they'd have to do to survive here, for that matter, but she didn't say that aloud.

tumblr_npdwryNy7f1unydm7o1_500.png

Unfortunately, before their pleasant exchange could continue Chloe ended up dragging her off and bundling her into the back of the kidnap wagon or something. Great. Just like something out of America's Most Wanted. She gave some meek protest, but in the end it was the most she could do to exclaim a rushed "We'll talk later!" to Jon as she was hauled off.

"Chloe? You know how when we were little, our moms always told us to never get into the backs of vans with strangers?"

Her tone was pointed, but too timid to be aggressive; mild annoyance was all she could ever really muster up when dealing with Chloe. The girl was like a puppy you couldn't stay mad at. A crazy, pushy, little punkass of a puppy.

She fell silent after that, though. "Socially uncomfortable" might as well have been Max's middle name, and as a result she always felt out of place in crowds - so being packed into a van with over a half-dozen other people like a tin of sardines didn't exactly make for the most nerve-calming experience. She tried to keep to herself for the most part as they were driven... wherever this thing was supposed to be going, sitting at the back of the vehicle and leaning her head against the window as she watched the desolate landscape pass them by.

"You're in not in a too different scenario than the one me and Crusader find ourselves in." Storm replied having had her eyes on the van group for most of the time in case something was going to happen there, but it seemed to have calmed down for now. "We haven't met in my world, but I know you by reputation, Frank Castle." While she had heard of him before, Spider-man during one of the teacher meetings had talked about him in intricate detail. She hadn't liked what she had heard. "I am Storm of the X-Men."

Abel quietly took a place at Aqua's side again, listening in on the talk silently. It seemed they were all speaking about their own worlds or about their times in the Murder Games. Honestly, I feel a little awkward here. He rubbed the back of his neck, not knowing what to say anymore. Maybe I should just go back to Naoya, Lapis, and Red, I can at least talk with them.
Meanwhile Crusader was standing silently by with her group trying to figure out what to do next. Seeing the look on Abel's face Crusader would smile in his direction.

'I doubt that. Most of the damsels I meet barely last 5 minutes. Usually because they're trying to kill me, or are killed because of me.'He smiled at Teresa. 'And for the record, a 'shank' is usually what they use to try and kill me. Believe it or not, the City of Angels isn't that great a holiday destination.
'I have a feeling that you're hiding something from me, Ridley, and I'm going to find out what it is.'

He looked at Izana. 'So Dragons seem to be both common and humble in your world. Tell me. What happened? What happened differently? What's life like in Dragonland?'

Izana Looks at Joseph. "Frankly, not as good as others probably have had. My family and friends were murdered for their hides, since Humans like making dragonscale armor and weapons, it makes us a target. Of course you, Ace, and the others around here aren't bad people, to my knowledge, but back home, We're slowly starting to dwindle. you do still see us around, but they are hunting us faster then we can hatch, and its really rather sad." he sighs a bit, before smiling. "other then my history, however, things are pretty good. I have been travelling the world. seeing the sights, trying to help those I can, and offer any aid or comfort as I can to those I cant. Its why, even after the traumas of Eden and the Reapers I chose to join the Coalition on invite. Killing this Demonthing would do the world a VAST amount of good, not to mention all of the universes. What about in your world? What happened to my kind? Are there people as unique as Ace there? Are there any other Questions you wish to have answers to?" The sapphire reptile seems happy to be talked to, and it wouldn't be a stretch to assume that he as a result of said enthusiasm that he goes ignored at most of these events.

As Izana talked about his history, Joseph hurriedly wrote some of the events mentioned into his spiralbound notepad. 'In my world, the Old High Dragons were common hundreds of years ago. But soon they died out, or vanished. History continued and incolved, and most of Earth's magical creatures moved to Avalon, but even then, there were very few Dragons. The last two, Gwyn the Red and Pendragon the White fought. Pendragon was killed, but to make up for the damage, Gwyn, the most powerful of Dragons Dragonblessed 10 rings, as gifts to Merlin himself.

After Merlin's death and Ascension to Avalon's Council of Magic, the Rings were scattered, but...'
Joseph showed Izana the ring he wore. 'I've got one of them right here.'

'Depends what you mean by 'Unique'. We have the superheroes, and we have U.S.Alien. We have sorcerors, Mortals, ghosts. And then they have my little group. The Noble Magi. Has a ring to it, doesn't it?'

Izana nods* Yes, I suppose it does. Anyway, you said my kind moved to Avalon? Must have been renamed before my time then, Because I distinctly remember a world named Avalar with dragons, but I'm not entirely sure if its my world or one I've visited. There are Legends of a Purple dragon that saved the world from another, and more, but I don't recall much about the story you are telling. Maybe, Avalar is either a parrallel universe, or Avalon renamed itself sometime and made its own history, or something? I dunno, I'm mostly self-taught, so there are going to be gaps in my knowledge...."

"I'm... sorry." Bayonetta was genuinely apologetic, as she understood the meaning of losing family, even friends. "But, at least you have this version of her, to live your lives in parallel. Though, in this setting, one must wonder how much quality time is there to be had between father and alternate reality daughter."

'Perhaps it was. I'd have to ask The Council of Magic though-they're the real experts. Although, I've visited Avalon a couple of times, I haven't spoken with the Council. They don't approve of my talents or how I use my skills. Although Merlin did summon me to be one of the 9 Mighty Ones, but even with the titles he gave me, I felt as if he were mocking me slightly.

Although Avalon is a wonderful place. You and Ace should visit it sometime, see the changes.'

Joseph clicked his fingers, and fire spiralled towards some rubble, exploding fiercely. 'Yep. I can fight long distance. And I'm willing to work with you. Wander could join us too. 5 against The Dark.'He shook the Dragon's paw. 'Just don't try to betray or kill me.' said Joseph, brightly. This was probably the reason that he didn't have many friends.
