Rachel Rider
Smol Turtle Girl
Humans enjoyed the perfect life. No work, no sickness, no hatred. The City was created to be this way. But though The City was built on the dreams of humanity, it functions on the blood sweat and tears of Homo neoateles, known as Subus. The new species was created in labs, meant to be the perfect slave: Mindless, Strong, and short-lived to keep their population controllable. Their muscle mass is ten times that of normal humans, they have twenty percent less gray matter in their brains and half as many neurons. But that changed. Homo neonecopinus were the new species taking over, built out of the mutations and cross-breeding of Homo neoateles and Homo sapiens. They're unexpected, unwanted, and considered pests. But these so-called Tube Rats weren't giving up easily.
The customization options for your Homo neonecopinus are varied. They have the mind of a human, strength of a Subu, and a whole lot of adaptations. The height of a Homo neonecopinus is usually 5'1-5'10, same for males and females. Hair colors include normal human hair and the ashen gray or white of a Subu. The same goes for skin, (Greyish-brownish and pale gray are Subu skin tones) except they do have colored (Any color you can think of) patterns inherited from Subus that are unique to individuals, and glow in the dark. This is important because it is the main way they identify them in the dark since the tubes (A network of ventilation, electrical, and access shafts that are used by Tube Rats as their shelter since they are so extensive and unused) have very few light sources. Personality is, of course, unlimited. As for names, only first names. They need something short and unique. Other than that, go wild!
Character sheets should go like this:
Name: )See above)
Age: (Reasonable)
Bio:
Personality:
Physical Description:
Marking: (What it looks like (an image would be appreciated) and color)
Strengths/Weaknesses: (Physical or mental strengths/weaknesses)
Extra: (Anything else that is necessary)
The map of The City (That is what the rats call it. Humans call it the final utopia)
The roleplay will be starting in the center, where the group of Rats have just escaped from a failed food grab in the shopping district and were chased by an Extermination squad. From there, interactions will decide. I will be GMing (Managing NPC interactions) and be playing my character.
There is some basic lingo that will be used:
Surface Rat - A Tube Rat that spends their time on the surface, and usually has betrayed their species
Toom - A tube room, where Tube rats eat sleep and live.
Tube Tomb - An area used as a hideout, but aren't very comfortable and often are hard to find
Cross Rat - A Tube Rat who is the result of a Subu-Human pairing
Freak Rat - A Tube Rat who is a first generation mutated Subu
Real Rat - A Tube Rat who is born to two Real Rat/Freak rats.
Grab - An attempt to get resources from the surface.
Tursch - An edible fungus that is used for most of the meals Tube Rats eat. It is not very tasty and is used to describe someone who is disliked but necessary.
Fresi - A weed that sometimes grows in the cracks of the tubes. Rare, and very tasty when made into a soup. It grows in big clumps. It can be used as a compliment.
That's it! Tell me if you're interested, and post your CS! Once I have enough people (Whos CS's I approve of) we will start a single-threaded roleplay for it. Happy RPing!

Name: Vreych (Vre-ech)
Age:16
Bio: Lost parents to an extermination squad at 14. Lead food grabs for 3 years, on one of these her parents were caught. Was brought up by two Tube Rat parents who are 3rd generation Tube Rats.
Personality: A realist, she is extremely protective of her friends and utterly despises the humans. Cold to strangers, and harsh to unfamiliar Subus. Even if people trust a human, she will always be wary around them. She is extremely paranoid on missions, especially with people she cares about, and will never go to the housing district unless her life depends on it.
Physical description: 5'4, with pale gray skin. Her hair is white, cut in an extremely short pixie cut, and her eyes are a blue-gray. She mainly wears close-fitting clothing, with short sleeves, leggings, and her stomach showing.
Marking:
Strengths/Weaknesses: Very agile and lithe, with very good evasion skills. She is a good leader, but under enough pressure, she'll break. She keeps her emotions bottled up, and if someone makes her too angry she'll burst. Her combat skills are average, but she would easily be taken down by a stronger opponent. As for intelligence, she's good at tactical and abstract thinking, but no good at technology or science. She can read and write but isn't the best. Sometimes she gets things wrong.
