CoR Undercover mundane chores [Alysa & Sebastion]

"Sure, we can try the brown." Eva shrugged and removed the blue contacts, putting them back into the case. She did frown yet again when it was made known that Kelsea didn't go out much and she'd have to come back here.

Damn it. Well, I guess it's not like I'll just become a hermit. I'll have to go out to get a job anyways.

"In that case, I'll come back to see Kelsea. I'd probably muck it up if I did my own dye job, so it makes sense to use a professional." Glad she didn't have a soft head and also didn't mind her hair being and moved around, the redhead found her face becoming hot at the mention of Sebastion being a horn dog. If only they knew. Still, he did exude that sexiness.

"Not much tea, I'm sad to report. He and I have only err... done it once and ..." Eva trailed off, her cheeks dark pink. "He's sweet... and such a gentleman and really makes you feel special. Once he asked me to run away with him. I wish I would've. He deserves the world. We're just friends now though. I don't blame him though, I wouldn't want to be with me if I were him." Shrugging, she looked down at her hands, starting to feel off. Like, more than she should with just that single glass of whiskey.

"Hm... just what did I drink anyways?"

Dana handed over the brown contacts. "Was he at least good in bed? Everyone wants to sleep with him, but no one would say whether or not he was any good at it~" She giggled. She then lightly tapped Eva's shoulder. "I don't think its that. Guys like Sebastion aren't happy tied down. I also suspect there's something dark there, ya know? Some dark secret that keeps him from truly getting close to other people. But take it this way, he's sticking his neck out for you. That's gotta mean something, right?"

Kip started fitting the wig on Eva's head, the deep dark chocolate curls falling about her face. "That's Mr. Tom's special drink. Its more potent than people suspect, especially for those of us who change. It's slow to act, but will help ya relax. Drink too much of it though, and you'll end up on your face faster than a hooker's undergarments."

Fawkner grumbled quietly to himself, peeking over his glasses at the gossiping ladies. "Gonna have ta do her makeup too. Go grab Evan for that once ya two are down gabbin' about my secrets."

Her blush grew deeper and was soon spreading to her neck. Why was she so embarrassed talking about Sebastion? Oh right, it was because deep down, she wished they could've been more. That ship had sailed or sank, whichever, but she still couldn't help but blush. Huffing in slight irritation at her inability to keep her feelings locked away, Eva took the brown contacts and using the mirror, slipped them both in. She nearly poked her eyeball in the process thanks to the drink, but somehow managed to keep from maiming herself. Her gaze shifted toward Dana and she mused on the woman's words. It was none of her business to tell his secrets, so the redhead shrugged.

"No idea what his secret is, but to answer your question, he was fantastic in bed. Definitely didn't leave me wanting at all. And yeah... it means something that he's sticking his neck out for me, but the problem is, I am not quite sure what that meaning is. Maybe soon I'll find out. Or maybe he'll never tell me. Who knows with Mr. Mysterious." Eva's voice was soft and somehow the blushing finally disappeared. Her gaze shifted over to Fawkner, so very pleased that he gave her his special drink. She was already relaxing and stood still while Kip slid the wig on. This wasn't the first time she had worn a wig, but it was the first time she had worn this color. Hopefully, it was going to look good on her. She giggle-snorted at the image of falling on her face faster than a hooker's garment. Eva wasn't sure why that was so funny, but it was.

"Wait, why makeup? Oh, durh. To cover up my freckles and stuff. What a pity... I do have a pretty face already." Narcissistic? No, but she knew she was pretty, mostly because others have told her. "Still, what needs to be done, needs to be done. Fawkner, did Sebastion leave?"

Fawkner shook his head. "No. He's in the other room." He said, one ear tilted in the direction he was referring to. "Sounds like he's on the phone." His ear flicked back forward, pushing a sheet to one side carefully before starting on another, tinier sheet.

He looked up at Eva with a sigh. "Next time, I suggest drinking my whiskey a bit more slowly." He murmured.

Dana gently pulled Eva's chin to look up at her once the brown contacts were in. "Mmm. I think that will do. You look good with hazel, love~" She giggled. "And the hair adds to the appeal. If you're lucky, you might pull off a second night in Sebastion's bed~ If not, I'm sure there's no shortage of people here that'd take you home, including myself~"

Kip rolled her eyes. "Can you please just hold her head still? Its hard enough to get this to stay on her head without you flirting." She grumbled to her companion. "If you're done, go get Evan."

Relief immediately flooded Eva's body when told that Sebastion hadn't left her. Wasn't that always her fear deep down? Abandonment? Essentially everyone had abandoned her in one manner or another. Even if it hadn't been their fault, she still lost them. Biting on the inside of her bottom lip, the more hazel-eyed girl did her best to smile at both Dana and Kip prior to shooting Fawnker a sheepish grin.

"Sorry, I have this problem where I can't just sip on my alcohol. I've been working on slowing down though," Eva shrugged as she spoke, shifting her attention back to the girls just as Dana complimented her. It wasn't the honeyed words that made her once again blush, but was the thought of Sebastion making love to her once again.

"I... uhh..." At a loss for words thanks to the flirtatious woman, Eva really wished she wasn't struggling so much. What happened to that self-assure woman she used to be? She was always good at using her looks and words to get her way, but today she was struggling. "Thanks for the flattery. I guess we're just going to have to see how he reacts."

That was it!! Sebastion had completely messed up her confidence the night she came across him in the bar. Laughing to herself bitterly, Eva heard Kip's complaints and did her best to hold her head still.

"Sorry, Kip."

Dana leaned in closer. "Maybe I shouldn't give him the chance to see how he likes it and keep you all to myself~" She said, words all warm and velvet. Kip gave an exacerbated sigh and slapped her hands together hard. "Dana! Go! You're making this more difficult! Go get Evan or I swear to the gods I'm putting hot sauce on one of your 'toys' and you'll have to play roulette to figure out which one!"

"You're no fun~" Dana chuckled as she backed away and started for the back door.

Fawkner rolled his golden eyes and continued to work. "I ain't payin' ya to play right now, Dana. I'm payin' to make her a new gurl. Mind out of the gutter and put some pep to your step, or I'll let Kip hold on to her threats and make it two instead of one."

Once again her face felt so hot and she knew without looking it was just as red as before. Hell, it might've been even redder. It certainly felt like it was on fire the closer Dana leaned toward her and she felt her breath hitching. Speaking of being on fire. Why would they... how would it... no. No. She didn't even want to ask how hot sauce would feel up there. Imagine the burn?

"Hot sauce is definitely not meant in the nether regions. That burn would last forever." Murmuring mostly to herself, the bright red female bit on her bottom lip at the mental image. Even when Kip clapped her hands, Eva didn't jump and possibly had leaned toward the flirtatious female. It wasn't until she had backed away that the brunette blinked back to the present.

"Ooh... right, this is..." Eva sort of just stopped talking, mind forgetting what if had even been attempting to verbalize. Instead she located a nearby chair and sat down with a shiver.

Seriously? How are you turned on right now? Get a fucking hold of yourself before Sebastion comes back. Damn it.

Thankful that Dana had left to go get Evan, Eva squeezed her fingers into her things, desperately trying to calm herself down. How embarrassing. Shifting her gaze to Fawkner, she studied him a moment before sighing. How much longer?

"How much more is there to do? I'm not trying to hurry, but I'm terrified of staying in one place for a long period of time."

Fawkner gave her a look that seemed rather disgruntled. "Hours, toots. It takes hours to rewrite your entire life. My gurls and guys are my eyes and ears. If something comes this way for you, I will know before it even hits our block and you'll be hidden. You're perfectly safe here." He grumbled before going to yet another document.

A rather lanky man came in with what seemed to be bags of makeup. "Hiii, I'm Evan. I'm going to be your new best friend for a bit!" He cooed. "We're going to make you a brand new person-- literally. Ready?"

He didn't wait for an answer. He immediately started washing her face, using any makeup remover that he had on hand to start wiping her face down and removing anything she may have had before. Kip had finished putting the wig on and was styling it slowly.

Christ, you're doing such a fantastic job at seeming ungrateful. Maybe just shut your fucking mouth and trust the process.

Eva somehow managed to smile despite being pissed off at herself. This was probably why she struggled so much with relationships. Pushing out that thought and also doing her damnest to keep from running her fingers through her hair. She didn't want to mess up whatever it was Kip was doing. Reaching up to itch her nose, the brunette exhaled noisily.

"Sorry, Fawkner, I am trying to trust you and the process, but that guard dog is scary and a force to be reckoned with. I promise I'm not ungrateful for all of your help." She flashed a pearly white grin, somehow managing to keep it even as Evan walked in. It dimmed when he set immediately to work and she felt herself tensing up as he washed her face. She was not used to having people primp her like this.

"So... with the makeup, what exactly is being changed?"

"You act as though I don't know who you're speaking on, toots. Ya also forget I too work with Sebastion. And his father, on occasion when the pay is right." Fawkner stated, biting the end of his pen in thought. "I also made Ragnar who he is. I doubt ya'd be able to figure out who he was before he became the big bad guard dog that has you pissin' your pants." He raised an eyebrow. "He also knows this is a no go zone. Any trouble, and I could out more than a few people Sebastion's father has hidden."

He looked at her, a dangerous gleam in his eyes. "That will also go for you too, toots. Rat me out, or do somethin' stupid that gets me in trouble and I'll sell ya out too to save my people."

Evan raised a brow. ".. Yes." Is all he answered before starting with her foundation. "You'll uh.. Need to work on your makeup skills. I won't be making up your face every day for you, you know~"

Dana came back in and sat down on one of the wooden boxes lazily.

"I don't WANT to know who Ragar was prior to this point in his life. The only thing I care about is how to kill him. That's all I care about. Then I will find Sebastion's father and take care of business." Leaving it vague, Eva wasn't stupid. She knew Fawkner wouldn't tell her how to kill anyone and he no doubt did not appreciate her saying that she wanted to. Sighing, she returned her attention to the human-cat-dude and snorted at his threat. She had been threatened better than that most of her life.

"You don't scare me, Fawkner, but don't worry, I am not planning on narcing on you. To do so would put Sebastion in danger. Can't have that, yenno." Eva gave a one-shoulder shrug and glanced at Evan at his single-word answer before he set to work. Ugh, she hated people touching her face. Scowling at his insult, she wondered how terrible her makeup skills were. She thought they were good enough. But, she knew that the makeup skills of Drag Queens were top-notch.

"I'm a quick learner, Evan. Teach me and I will do it almost as good. I'm not dumb, I'll never be as good as you, but I am happy to improve. Might help me reel in guys or girls." Winking at Dana, she tried to sit still, her fingers drumming on her thighs.

"Ya should be, considering the only thing keeping ya safe right now is the fact I haven't let slip yer sat in my office, toots." Fawkner said. "I will do what I need to do to protect my people. If that means selling ya out? I will." He leaned back in his chair.

"As for how to kill Ragar? I've not the slightest. The transformation made an already twisted man more insane. I'm also not in the business of killin'." He lit another cigar and puffed it. "Sebastion's father, Theo, is also a terrifying man. I highly doubt you'll do much to him either. Its best to drop your foolish ambitions if ya plan on livin'"

Evan continued to work, talking and teaching Eva along the way what he was doing and why. Eventually he ended up having to have Kip stand between Eva and Dana to be able to continue to work.

Eva snorted at Fawkner, unsure why he was having a pissing contest with her at the moment. She still wasn't scared of him letting it slip because he owed Sebastion and while he might be a odd-one, he did seem loyal. Or rather, seemed like he'd not go back on his word. In her mind, that meant he'd keep his furry mouth shut about just who was in the office. If not, she would rip his spine out of his throat.

“Don't call me toots and stop with the unnecessary threats. I'm not scared of you, period. Whether you tell or not, that can be between you and your conscience. I'll sell you out just as quickly as you would sell me out of it helps Sebastion get free. You're not that special.” Eva's words held quite a bit to them, her mood darkening almost immediately.

Fuck him.

“As for protecting your people, if they keep their mouths shut, no one dangerous will know I'm here.” Her tone was still bitey, but it wasn't as harsh. As expected, Fawkner didn't know how to destroy Ragar and his comment about Theo irritated her all over again.

“I appreciate the information, but there's no way in hell I'm going to drop my ideas about saving Sebastion. Terrifying or not, everyone has a weak point.” She made a face and sat still, no longer able to see Dana thanks to Kip's body being in the way. What she did do since she couldn't flirt was part close attention to what Evan was telling her this whole time.
