Open Vitae Medical Cruiser

"If you can travel from here, and you're set - now may be the time." Daniel offered, glancing through his monitor as the large ship neared orbit. Unfortunately, that was all he had to go off of as none of the threats had any means of contacting him. "It does seem like they're persistent."

He seemed to just realised the ship had left and slit the guards throat, "Kill the guards and secure the area, I'm going to chase them, and with that, he was stumbling forwards on Daniel's ship. "Honey! I'm home!"

(Going to need some further explanation here, Daniel's ship is in orbit, you should know there are only 2 guards stationed there the rest is automated security, in short the hangar for many ships was assaulted Daniel's is just one of the ships in a large hangar bay. I hope this clears up a bit, and I'd prefer if you kept your posts to one consolidated one - it's difficult to respond to put your actions together if it's split up. I hope this clears things up for you.)

Blindfold approached Beikelan solemnly. Take a good look, his conscience said. This is what happens when people get close to you.

(You two may be better off creating a new Rift thread for this, and you can take it there and continue as you wish)

Beikelan turned as Dridax strode up to him, slamming a fist into his face and Beikelan stumbled backwards. The droids seemed to ignore Beikelan's orders now, and pounced on him as he roared, trying to wave them off. Dridax ducked under a wave of ink, slamming into him with such a force, it sent him flying into a wall, breaking it. He stumbled backup just as Dridax grabbed him, slamming him back into the wall, knocking Beikelan's vision into a blur.

Agape had followed Daniel home, happily chatting about the things they had seen and excited about the foods she had tried that night. When they approached the ship she waved politely to the guards, she was still wary of people, and Daniel was her only companion. He had reassured her that the guards were nice people, and his family had helped her quite a bit as well so she had no problems with them. Agape followed Daniel inside, removing her jacket she sat it on the couch beside her bag and smiled. Her face was still flushed from the alcohol, she hadn't noticed her own mixture had held vodka. Agape wasn't tired but she did feel more elated than usual. She looked around until her eyes would meet Daniel's, "Would you like tea?"

The walk home was pleasant and it gave him time to focus as his body sobered up from the Servo, his stomach content with the meal that it had so his body was relaxed. As they talked Daniel stifled a yawn, feeling a wave exhaustion start to work it's way through his system. As Agape waved to the guards Daniel did the same, asking how they were doing before they waved them through to the hangar. It took but a moment to drop the ramp to allow them entry, closing behind them as Agape set her things down and glanced around the ship. "Tea sounds nice, are you confident in making it now?" He jested, finding his way towards the common area and letting himself fall into the couch. From the meal, to alcohol, to exhaustion his body was ready for rest - so much so that he knew he could fall asleep there on the couch if he let himself.

Agape chuckled at Daniel falling on the couch and nodded, "Yes! Though I do not think I can make tea as good as you." Pushing her sleeves to her elbows she walked toward the kitchen. She grabbed her own cup, and the cup she had present Daniel earlier that day setting them to the side. She filled up a pot with water carefully placing it on the stove turning it on she started heating up the water. Once she was sure it was ht she poured the tea mixture and the water into the cups and stirred. Taking a sip of her own satisfied with the taste she walked back to the common area. She gently sat Daniel's cup on the table in front of him smiling. "I have made tea! It will help you sleep even better now!"

Daniel listened as the water filled the pot and began to boil, his thoughts a bit loose as he kept himself from drifting to sleep. He smiled a bit at Agape saying that she couldn't quite make it as good as he could, but it was really just about how long you let the tea seep before taking the bag out. Heat played a factor too, but the way they were boiling water wouldn't allow for too much change there unless he let it sit for a while. Her footsteps let him know she was getting closer, and as she sat his new mug down beside him he smiled as his eyes stayed transfixed on his name and her writing. "I don't think I'll need much help there, but I appreciate you making the tea - and the mug. Are you not tired Agape?" He asked, turning his attention towards her. He had woken her from sleep when he first arrived, so she had at least gotten some rest.

Agape sat beside him on an empty space beside him and shook her head, her cheeks were still tinged pink and matched the star-shaped freckles that were splayed across her face. "I suddenly feel very awake. And uhm-light? I am not sure if it makes sense." She laughed a little and glanced at him before lifting the cup to her lips, taking a small sip she sighed happily. "I make good tea. But, your tea will always be best!" She lowered the cup setting it on the table. Her mother would love the tea, a twinge of sadness hit her heart. Daniel had said that there was a possibility she could go home. Thinking about it, she had made the cruiser home as well. It was a lot different from the things she was used to but she had felt more at peace here than she did roaming the lands of Xolmeania.

"Today was very fun! I have learned about new food and drinks. And have tried ethanol for the first time!" She smiled at Daniel again, using the chemical composition of alcohol to describe it.

"It makes sense, it's a normal reaction to drinking 'ethanol'." Daniel put a bit more emphasis there, laughing a bit to himself. "Technically, you're right calling it that; but most will just call it alcohol. Saying it your way makes you sound like a scientist, or a teacher." He went on, not sure if he would be explaining it in such detail were he not tired or had just drank. He took a sip of his tea after it had a bit of time to cool down, savoring the taste as he felt the familiar notes of lavender and scent wash over him.

The drink had always managed to relax him and the familiarity of it was only part of it. After another sip of his drink he turned his attention towards Agape, her posture was livened up as she got excited about the day and the drinks but he hadn't missed the small sign of sadness that she had. "Today was a lot of fun, thank you for the gifts and accompanying me; it made my first day back very special. Maybe I should travel more often." Daniel smiled at that, thinking about his schedule for the next few weeks as he had to catch up on work.
