More like a huge fan of fantasy romance with a preference for happy endings and a penchant for bad puns and emojis (and, god forbid, the occasional meme).
Of course, enjoying happy endings doesn't mean I don't like writing conflict of varying types, and I will happily let your character beat on mine for the grand goal of character development. Physical fights, verbal arguments, emotional turmoil- all both fair game and actively sought out.
I enjoy writing in fantastical settings, both in modern settings or past ones. Or both. Or neither!- I'm not opposed to writing sci-fi, though I may be slightly.. bad at it.
I've been roleplaying on and off for about six or seven years now, in various mediums (MMOs, other forum websites, tumblr, etc..) and it's something I really enjoy, as someone who likes both interacting with other people and writing! My preferred format is 3rd person, paragraph-style (preferably 2+ paragraphs a post, though it isn't a hard requirement), and I don't really care if it's past or present tense, being fine with both. I typically write female characters, being more comfortable and knowledgeable with them than male characters.
On a more personal level, I'm a twenty-year-old female university student from western Canada. I like video games, my dog, reading, and writing (Who knew?). I could maybe find my way to the nearest bathroom in French, but like to consider myself decently good at this whole English thing.
