What is your favourite animal?

Fictional? A Zigzagoon, and the Sea Treader Leviathan.
Historical-fiction? (Dragons, unicorns, giants)(I'm a Norse pagan, those things exsist to me) Dragons
Traditional: Snakes, Lizards, wolves, spiders, you name it.
 
This is an interesting question. Why? Because my favorite animal was always a cat; for as long as I could remember. But as an adult we got a cat and it was horrible! We are just not an animal family, and I am a bit put out by it...Now I have no idea what my favorite animal is.
 
I love many animals, though I don't like spiders, insects and snakes. I think I like horses the most with cats on a close second spot.
 
I would say I like spiders because that's the inside joke for people who know my last name (it sounds like spider in Polish) but honestly I like lions, strong and stoic perfect role to follow.
 
Opossum all the way. Small fluffy bumbly, with the best ears and paws in the animal kingdom. Who else has such sharp little teeth while being basically pacifists.
 
Sharks, I love sharks. I think sharks are beautiful, they are so fun and interesting you see. I know they have a bad rep due to popular media and such, but they are, pretty inteligent for a fish, besides, they can apparently remember things for over a year, which can pontetially make them remember people!

On second place I'd say manatee, but I don't need to expain why I like the sea potatoe.
 
Mmmm tricky. I like a lot of animals...

Pets, it's gonna have to be both dogs (larger ones), and also small parrots (think lovebirds, or a bit bigger - not macaws).

Aesthetically, I really like Bees, wasps and peacocks!
 
It's tied between the capybara, the red panda and the opossum.

Runners up are raccoons, foxes and iguanas, then dogs and cats.
 
Honestly, as long as it's not an arachnid, I'm pretty chill with most animals. My absolute favorite would probably have to be Pandas though, I was nicknamed panda when I was about 13 by my now husband's sister, and my husband and I have always kind of shared the love for the animal since, buying panda stuffies and plushies, naming them after one another. We try not to play favorites but the Ikea Pandas are so adorable.
