What's your favorite thing about roleplaying?

I know everyone likes RPs for different reasons. For example, I love the different characters that are described during. It really puts a picture in your head! The universes described are fun too.
Being able to go into a world away from my own- building up nonsense laws and characters to fit in the giant ant-colony that is the world that they live in. You can shape everything in any way that you like, all while receiving pushes and pulls from other people; influencing your narrative in a natural manner.

I love RP because it takes my, otherwise confused (due to ASD) mind of things and relax and be more me.

Allows to escape from this reality when I'm unable to for example go to forest. It kinda brakes the loop and lets my imagination take the wheel.

I love to be able to escape the real life’s miseries and troubles for a little while, haha.

And I have so many characters and stories in my head, I want to get out - and what is better than doing it with friends!

Honestly I love it as a creative escape to be able to explore worlds unlike our own ......be able to possibly make friends and even just share creative words with others and share love for fandoms

Letting my creativity being free, roleplaying in my favorites fandoms..

Finding a partner is difficult, but, whatever.

Having some freedom and escapism.

The escapism. It lets me delve into more fantastical landscapes to distract from my rather uneventful life. It is not like my life is bad, I just wished it was more exciting and that friends had more time.

100% it has to be the creativity. I've only really started challenging myself to write solo recently, and I gotta say one of the best parts about roleplaying is being able to have that back and forth, and gradually world-build together.

I love the collaboration. The fact I don't know exactly which way the story is going to turn is exciting. The anticipation while I wait for a reply, the excitement of getting one, the thrill of the unknown as I read what they gave me... All this feeds my Muse and like most writers, the more inspired I am the better I write. I don't get the same effect working solo.

My favorite part of RPing is writing with other writers. I can create my own world, all the characters, and have them do all the things... but where is the fun in that? I like not knowing what the other person is going to write, and having to adjust my character's actions to fit the narrative. Plus, I love a good story.
