Vader wasn't going to even dignify that with a response and instead continued to watch silently over the group.

@Raptor Jesus

The furry woman also received a wall of silence from the Dark Lord of the Sith. Until...he sensed a disturbance in the Force. He sensed...Jedi.

@Siege

He had listened off hand to what they had been saying among one another but Vader didn't make any movements just yet. He had been tasked to eliminate any Jedi that crossed his path and these two would be no different. He knew however that if he attacked them now that everyone else were going to join in to stop it, much like in the fight not to long ago. It meant that he had to bid his time for now before he could strike.

How long it would take however only Vader knew.

@Donder172

"I'm not one to promote violence here, but it seems everyone else here wants it in a certain way shape or form." Krystal said to Vader.

@Jeremi

"Actually," Meiji spoke up, turning to face one of the others that just woke up. "We have four from our group speaking with the Captain right now, so all we have to do is wait." she shrugged.

@Raptor Jesus @Donder172

Meanwhile, Stardust simply pulled up a crate and sat down.

"With all this in fighting we've been doing on and off we all probably look pretty silly." she idly commented.

@Kaykay @CrunchyCHEEZIT

「We probably do, huh. Hitting things and blowing things up every other second, do they think this is a battle manga?」Kumagawa shrugged casually. 「If we're on a spaceship, we obviously don't want to damage the vessel even if we try to hijack it, right? So these plans of shooting missiles and guns were doomed to begin with!」

Elliot had nothing to say to Vert. It was clear he had not believed Vert capable of seducing the guards in the first place. He stared at Gumi.

"No, I have not been gifted with your fortunate life. In fact, it sickens me that you have never experienced the pain I have felt. There's too many like you; naive fools who have had it too easy. Don't we all deserve an equal amount of suffering? Maybe then the world would start making sense." He crossed his arms and shook his head at Gumi. "I'll play your game if only for you to understand my pain."

@Yun Lee @Raynar Saassin

Burnham nodded and escorted the group once again. She said little on the way to Engineering, for she was too lost in thought to say much of anything. This situation was perhaps too troubling to comprehend. She would have to seek Sarek's council at some point.

When they entered Engineering, a blond man looked up from a console he had been pouring over. "Are these our guests?" he asked with a sad smile.

"I've brought them as requested," Burnham responded.

The man nodded. "I am the Chief Engineer on board the USS Discovery, Paul Stamets. This is Ensign Tilly." He gestured to a red-haired, woman, who gave a small, nervous wave. "I've already been told that you believe you're from alternate universes. It's for that reason we'd like to scan you, is that all right?"

Stamets stared at the four as if he wasn't really asking their permission. He seemed to want to just get this done.

「Ahaha! I've already tried that before.」Kumagawa laughed as he overheard the two's conversation.「Make those happy elites have a taste of misfortune, right? The pain of not having one victory in your life. Make them swallow the gas your parents made you swallow. Force them to eat the newspaper, which was the only food you could obtain. Screw into them the pain that only the most misfortunate of us can understand. But that's all useless. If you're not happy...」

With a wicked grin, he slammed two enormous screws into the floor of the hangar bay, spawning them seemingly out of nowhere.

「...there's only one reason for it. There's only one person at fault for your own unhappiness. It's all your fault. If you don't understand that, why don't we cut out this little children's game and you come talk right to me? I'll screw it into your very bones that in the limitless depths of misfortune, anyone can still live happily!」

The guards had looked more confused than intrigued initially when Vert started talking seductively to them. Elliot had looked on with a bit of a smirk, at least until Starscream was doubting any plan they might have of escape. "Trying is better than nothing. Failing is still better than being captured. No one should ever..." He trailed off when Gumi started yelling, sabotaging any plans they were trying to enact. He looked at her, wide-eyed as if he believed her to be out of her mind. His hands balled into fists and his breathing turned shallow. He gave Starscream a sideways glance that was mostly frustration.

"What are you fools doing?" he said when the fighting initially started. He backed off quickly to get away and his expression turned calmer as he watched the guards intently, seemingly figuring this to work as a distraction as well.

In the end, however, the order from above seemed to be a 'wait and see approach' as the guards never moved from their post. "I suppose it would have been foolish of them to drop the force field in case of potential danger from those fighting," Elliot said, mostly to himself.

He then shot a glare at Gumi. "I can listen damn well fine. What you don't seem to understand is that things never work out how you think they will. Always expect the worst. Maybe then you'll learn something."

Burnham felt uneasy at the android saying a few of those among their guests were 'fictional,' believing initially he might have been experiencing some kind of software failure. If he truly was from a 2017 that was mostly analogous to the one she knew from history, it was entirely possible he was not advanced enough to understand certain concepts.

"Sabotage was our guess," Burnham said to Emily, "and that was why we had to assume your group was responsible. For now, that idea has been shelved. In the meantime--" Burnham turned and gestured to the exit. "Could you four join me in Engineering? Our officers stationed there would like to see you and ask you a few questions so we may better understand the situation."

"Expect the worst?" Gumi finally seemed to understand Elliot a but more. "Ohhhhhh. No wonder you're so gloomy! Why expect the worst when there's so much good to be found in the world? If I expected the worst all the time I'd be miserable! Sure, things are sad sometimes and things happen that...make it hard to see good. But then, good things happen too, yeah? You can't tell me nothing good's ever happened to you before! Even something little, like playing a game, or seeing a cute puppy, or eating your favorite food! Good always pops up somewhere."

She gestured to the group, particularly Star-Lord. "We all didn't expect the worst, and look what happened! They were willing to talk with us! But you and Vader expected the worst, and one guy got choked out and we had some big huge crazy fight that could've gotten a lot more hurt! These people haven't captured us, probably haven't stolen your powers, so you just gotta wait without trying any big dumb plans!"

When finished, Gumi let out a sigh. "Whoo! I haven't been that serious since Lily abd Gakupo got into a fight about who's better! I could totally be on a debate team, yeah? I think so!" She smiled at Elliot now, extending her hand. "Here, I can help you relax! Wanna play a game? You ever play twenty questions? It's fun!"

@Atomic Knight

Engineering? "I don't mind at all," Gakupo bowed to the captain. "Thank you for hearing us out, sir." As he started following Burnham, he processed what Emily said. Sabotage? If not from the crew, and if not from their group, then...who could be responsible? Eh, didn't matter to him. All he wanted to do was get out of here.

Man. This guy was REALLY messed up. It would take at least five rounds of Twenty Questions to help him out. Maybe even six. "Woo! Okay, here's how it works. I think of an object or person-to make it easy, I'll make it a person in this room-and you ask twenty yes-or-no questions to figure out who it is!" Gumi shut her eyes, face scrunched in concentration as she decided on someone. When she was done, she opened her eyes and smiled. "Okay...go!"

@Atomic Knight

"If that can prove we are, then you have my permission." Gakupo spread his hands to punctuate his willingness. No point in waiting. Plus, hey. He could score some points with that cute redhead if he cooperated...

Emily nodded; she better understood now why Burnham and the overall crew treated the Hangar group as a threat at first. If she herself, a stranger to this ship had suspected such a thing, there was little surprise that the Crew may have come to the same conclusion, except... Because there were suddenly almost 30 new arrivals on the ship, they had thought it might have been them.

mqLm8Sj.png

"Of course. It's the least we could do." She said, following Burnham's lead once more to Engineering.

Once they got there, she listened carefully to what the man, identifying himself as Paul, and his... Ensign? (She had better touch up on that term later), who was called Lilly. It seemed they wanted to scan them to make sure they were indeed from another dimension, and although she was willing to go through with the process, something suddenly occurred to her.

"Like I mentioned in the hangar... I can't remove my stone. Would it be a problem if it got scanned too?" She asked.

Of course, if it were just a normal amulet it would be no issue, but... It was likely an alien artifact, and she wasn't too sure how it might behave if it was scalled alongside her.

Zero Two was used to tests. She had to take them every so often to test her proficiency and ability as a Franxx pilot. Most of these were blood cell counts and combat ability tests, so a nice scan would be a nice change of pace.

She nodded. She reached up into her hair and grabbed her headband that stunted the growth of her horns.

Elliot shot a curious glance toward Kumagawa, listening to him intently. Though when he summoned his screws into the floor, Elliot's hands glowed. He gritted his teeth in anger, looking about ready to retaliate, but instead, he simply held his ground. "You may have a point," he said with an edge to his voice. He did not seem entirely put off by Kumagawa's threat. "I escaped my drudgery once, only to once again find a new sort of hell. Then I did away with that one too. Over and over again. I know just as well that only I can rid myself of what pains me, but such an action requires power, don't you know? Finding your own happiness... it requires obtaining power, simple as that."

He then looked to Gumi, keeping a wary sideways look at Kumagawa as well. "That is not the game I expected it to be based on the name. What is the point? Why don't you simply tell me what you're thinking of? Is the goal to ultimately torture it out of you? I could imagine such an exercise from soldiers, not... yourself."

"I don't know what you're stone is, so I can't say whether it would affect anything," Stamets said almost sarcastically.

"It's apparently a kind of weapon," Burnham said.

"Hmm." Stamets shrugged. "It should be fine. Keep in mind that we have little to no basis for when it comes to beings from other dimensions. We won't know what the scans will tell us, nor do we know if it will prove anything you say. It is mostly for research purposes. Just hold still."

Stamets pressed a button on his console. Nothing seemed to happen, but the computer display in front of him was evidently compiling data.

"H-hey! Enough of that!" Stardust said with wide eyes. That...it was almost like a complete 180! What was wrong?? Why was he suddenly making threats?

Emily nodded, biting her lip a little in anticipation. At least there was no immediate problem that the crew could think of, and... Fortunately enough, it seemed that nothing was happening as far as she could tell while the scan was going on. Of course, the scan was going and all, so she decided against moving from where she was for now, instead... Letting her mind drift a little.

Emily did kind of want to talk... As she was curious what the scan may be saying about them, but she figured it was best to just comply and not move. However, she did wonder how Elliot was holding up in that Hangar. Was he keeping himself in check while she and the other 3 arrivals were gone? Or was he back to his... Usual shennanigans.

"Failing will probably result in us being thrown into space, so no, it isn't better than staying here, or nothing for that matter, unless you view a very painful deactivation via suffocation among the stars as a better fate, Elliot," Starscream responds, his scrap-eating grin nowhere close to leaving his face.

"Oh, is that Swindle you're hol- oh wait he's still hanging with Star-Lord, carry on, carry on. Oh, do carry on."

Starscream briefly mistakes one of Kumagawa's screws for Chibi-Robo. Happening to be near Vert, he crosses his arms as he watches Kumagawa & Elliot's verbal battle.

"Well, would you look at that, a little viewpoint one-on-one. I suppose a few flapping mouths would suffice for some entertaining moments, depending on the direction this goes, and I believe that the current direction is rather engrossing."

"For once I agree." Krystal said to Starscream.

Meceliss looked at Vader for a moment. As if she was trying to determine if he was going to be a threat or not. Or perhaps to see what his next moves are going to be. Regardless, she didn't say a word. Mizelia took note of this and placed a hand on Meceliss' shoulder. "You don't trust him." Mizelia said as she stated the obvious.
"Of course I don't. Even if I have worked with Sith, they are not the most trustworthy people. And that's an understatement in most of the cases." Meceliss simply answered.
"Maybe so, but as in those moments. Killing us is not for his selfinterest." Mizelia said "Perhaps it helps to talk." She then proposed to Meceliss. "Who knows, perhaps we'll get more insight on the current situation Vader finds himself in."
"You... do what you want. I'm going to talk with a few others." Meceliss said and the two split up.

Mizelia
Mizelia approached the Sith Lord and offered a respectful bow with her head to the armored indevidual. "Greetings, Lord Vader. May I have a moment of your time, please?" Mizelia asked the Sith Lord. She didn't acted hostile to him at all. Her tone was calm, maybe unusually calm for a Jedi who is about to try to make a conversation with Vader.

Meceliss
Meceliss on the other hand walked towards the group with Starscream. Listening to them. "I have seen enough drama in my life if I may be honest." Meceliss commented as she looked at the fighting as well.

“So uh, did you make this thing?” Sarge asked Viktor, obviously referring to Blitzcrank. Maybe if he knew how it was made and who made it, he could reprogram it like Lopez! Then they could have two Spanish speaking robots!
"Of course," Viktor replied as though it were obvious, "nobody else is capable of such a feat but I." His eyes drifted to the side for a moment.

"Though, nobody at the College of Techmaturgy believed me, and Stanwick received all of the credit."
He looked back at Sarge. "But, I digress. Blitzcrank is one of the projects that I am most proud of. He is nearly indestructible, and has developed remarkable sentience and self-sufficiency," he said, glancing in Blitzcrank's direction. "I have yet to replicate my success, however. Without the knowledge of what caused his... 'awakening', so to speak, each automaton I create fails to meet these expectations. I can only continue my experiments in hopes of making this discovery."

It appeared that having the chance to talk about his work made Viktor less patronizing toward Sarge. For now, at least.

Meanwhile, Blitzcrank was silent throughout all of this. In fact, the two had never spoken a word to each other since they arrived here. Odd.

@Takumi @CrunchyCHEEZIT @Atomic Knight @Yun Lee

I could imagine such an exercise from soldiers, not... yourself."
Viktor observed the quarrel, unimpressed by yet another clash between hotheads.

"I could end everyone's suffering," the Machine Herald interjected, "should they choose to join the Glorious Evolution. All of that pain can easily be made bearable by the use of mechanical augmentations."

"Now, cease this senseless conflict," Viktor proclaimed, growing tired of the overabundance of squabbles. "Both of you are falling victim to the primitiveness of your minds."
