He started mumbling to himself as he started going line by line on the scripts to try and fine what he was looking for. "Come on, come on. There has to be something for release of someone from the bloodline... Maybe it's in the part I can't read..."
Sarah had curled up in her blankets and her sleeping bag. Slowly she had drifted off to sleep. Her ankle was bothering her still but she thought it was from her standing on it for so long.
It didn't take long for the nightmares to start up. They were different this time though. This time she knew she was back in the water but there was strings attached to her arms and legs. When she looked down an old gnarled hand with claws had dug into her leg.
She woke sharply with a scream as she sat up suddenly. She looked around her in bewilderment. Confused and scared.
Yellow nods and moves away, but just to be safe he stays near the hut. The brothers didn't want anything to happen to her, and he was usually the one to be on the lookout for anything of interest, so it just seemed right.
After a little while, Red gave up on searching the scripts. Even if he did ever want to release her, he knew he couldn't if he wanted to keep his brothers alive and happy. He flew back towards the main ruins, perching near the top and trying to clear his mind. He couldn't let guilt take him over, he'd be useless in such a state.
Sarah couldn't fall back asleep no matter how hard she tried. She ended up just staying awake and staring at the walls of the hut a little. The feeling if loniness eating at her a little. She wished the brothers wouldn't hide from her so much but she knew they weren' used to having someone around. She wouldn't bug them with her human emotions and wants.
After a minute or so Purple poked his head in, seeming a little worried. "Sarah... you were trying to talk Red down earlier, right? I think there's something you need to see..."
"It's... kind of hard to tell." He leads her towards the main ruins, where all of the brothers were gathered, and he points to Red up at the top. "He's been up there ever since he returned from... wherever he went. And we're not sure what to do to get him down, or if he'll just come down on his own."
Sarah blinks a bit as she looks up at Red. "Has he ever done anything like this before?" She asks curiously as she moves a little closer. Shifting her weight so she was off her ankle some.
"No.. I think there's something about you being here that's messing with his head. He never acted like this before you showed up. I'm not trying to blame you or anything, but..." Purple rubbed the back of his neck and looked up at his brother. "There's gotta be something we can do..."
Orange soon enough spoke up. "Maybe he just needs another pep talk. He seems calmer now than before, so it might work this time." He turned to Sarah as if asking her if she wanted to do it.
She hesitates a little then nods slightly. "I can try." She moves forward a little and looks up at Red. "Hey...what You doing up there?" She asks curiously.
Red's attention seemed to be caught, as he looked down at her for a minute before answering. "I needed a moment to clear my head... I just made everyone worry about me, didn't I..?"
She smiles softly. "They only worry because they love you. When you act different they get worried. Do you just want time to yourself? I can send them away if you want?"
