Dark Stuides

She nods softly to him. "I'm not going any where. " She says and waits patiently for him. Her eyes glance around at everything in the store. There weren't a lot of people in the store itself which she was glad about. It had been so strange for her to have seen what she did. The guy was dead. She had to be imagining it. Maybe it was just another way for the nightmares to get at her. At least that was what she was telling herself.

Stepping out a few minutes later the demon smiled at the female and motioned to the clothes, "They fit," He told her. His redbrown eyes told her he knew she was still uneasy. Holding his hand out to her he offered his protection from whatever fear lingered in her mind.

She smiles to him and nods. " They look good." She accepted his hand and smiles. "I'm okay. Honest. Just my mind playing tricks on me I think." She says to him.

The male wasn't sure but he accepted her reasoning. Who knew what the mind of a human could do? He smiled at the casher when he set the clothing down. He felt off letting her pay. Hexel reminded himself to change that later.

She paid for his clothes and thanked the cashier. It was easy to see the effect he had on other humans around them. She would almost forget he was a demon if it wasn't for their staring.

They leave the store and she checks her phone for the address for the garden place. She nods once she found it. "I think it's about two blocks this way." She starts walking with him.

Hexel was amused by the cashier's staring. So much so he had winked at her while he walked out with Mary. It was habit that made him a bit of a playboy. Holding her hand he walked with her. A man sat on the corner playing a violin. This seemed to cause the demon to become further playful with the girl at his side. He pulled her to his chest and swayed slightly back and forth with her, "Just smile for me," He told her.

As he started to sway with her to the music of the violin player, she couldn't help but smile. She nods to him and looks up at him. "This is the first time I've ever danced you know.. " she says to him. It was the truth ,she didn't even go to her own high school prom.

The male gives a look of surprise, "My my we should fix that. Teach you to move with the grace of a gypsy queen over the sands of time," He returned her smile. A coin had been called to his free hand. It was heavy and made of gold. He dropped it into the case of the violinist as he drew the woman with him across the street, "Lead the way."

She smiles warmly and nods to him. "I will like that " She says and walks with him across the street and down the two blocks to the store that would have the plant stuff they need.

The demon smelled flower and examined the leaves of trees as well as various other things while the walked around. He found the vegitables easily enough which amused him as he glanced over the pictures on the tags as to what they would look like when ripe, "What sort of vegitables to you like?" He asked Mary.

She smiles as she watches him. It was a curious process to watch as he picked out the plants. "All kinds. I'm not picky and I'm not allergic to anything." She says to him.

He smiled at her comments as he chose carrots, potatoes, pepers, tomatoes and romane letus. He looked at the fruits and chose a strawberry as the others would have need mor time for planning.

She smiles again as she watches him. He was still a fascination to her in how he did things. She didn't see anything wrong with it and enjoyed it. Once he had picked everything that they needed to start their little garden, she paid for the items and started to head out of the store with him as well.

The male was happy most of what he had picked were seeds still. He toted a second bag now with various pots and two bags of soil sat across his left shoulder. He didn't seemed bother by the weight in the least. He had gave her the strawberry plant to carry. It sat in a small pot that fit easily in one hand the vibrant green leaves reaching up and out.

She smiles warmly to him. The plant she held was amazing to her and she wondered about it. How big would it get? How often did it need water? She was always so curious of things.

She looks up at him again. "I can't wait to see how they all look."

He smiled softly at her, "It will be a while before they are much of anything. Likely sooner with the strawberry as it is almost at the right size to start producing flowers. We will need to leave it outside to let the bees and other pollinators do their job to help make the berries. Good thing is we won't have to water it a lot till it starts putting out flowers. Once it flowers it should get watered once a day. Early in the morning is best or late in the evening," He was simply telling her what he knew of the plant and most plants.

She smiles to him and nods. "This will be great." She says and stays at his side as they walked.

He hummed softly as he tried to think of anything else he should tell her about the plants as they walked the rest of the way to their home. He blinked as he realized he thought of the place as his as well now.

She glances around her as they reached her home. It was a strange feeling of being watched that had caused her to do so but she pushes it from her mind and moves inside with Hexel.

Smokey came running up to greet them. Meowing her complaints about being left behind. She gently set the plant down and picked up the large cat. "I'm sorry hunny but you can't go with us when we go out. You're too spoiled." And tickles her cats big belly.

The demon kept up his happy routine till they were inside, "Mary would you start up something for us to eat while I go check on something outside?" His eyes showed he wouldn't take no for an answer. He had smelled something that made him worry for the safety of the woman before him. If someone thought to harm her he would make them think twice about it.
