Exile From Metropolis [Out of Character Thread]

Also, I'm a dum dum and forgot to throw my character onto the Character Thread, gonna do that now :')
 
What’s the hook for how to begin this? Do you have plans for how the characters should get together or where they need to be or something they should be doing?

It is possible that Kana is alone in the facility and unaware of it. But if anyone is in the facility, they could just get together and go enjoy themselves until they either have to sleep or go to their disguise work.

But I'd say if you want everyone to get together in the first posting round, maybe start with a prologue or with your character doing something but eventually going to the branch university research facilities where Kana is currently. If Kana is alone, she might make a bunch of calls to the others seeing what they are up to.

Nope, they are both kind of oblivious to each other's antics I think. Which if it comes across as that, perfect, that was the intent haha.
 
Do we know each other? I was under the impression that we didn't unless that was something established between writers ahead of time.
 
I understood they knew each other at least partially, depending on the background of each, they are underneath the university after all. In the case of your character it'd make sense if she joined in later than the rest or just now began to know them.

I see it this way, given Kana and Naoma's age, they definetely encountered each other before and have been under a similar chain of command for longer, Alice likely came next, and y/c @illirica would be the most recent.

We never really discussed it, but its kind of the vibe I felt from Aunt's starter, they work together, so they are at least acquaintaces- But nations make new allies so your character doesn't need to have an established close relationship with any of the other characters.


Then again those are my thoughts, I throw this one over to @AuntRainbows 'cuz I might be making stuff up she didn't envision haha.

I thought they were basically all colleagues to a degree. And I thought it was outlined in the plotline in the first post.
 
No, you're good, I think I'd just misinterpreted the OP a little. I was assuming that they all came through different programs that all had kind of the same idea, and we weren't necessarily familiar with each other but could identify each other on meeting. I'd rather just ask questions at the start than screw something up, you know?
 
Oh, no, a bunch of criminals! In the criminal areas of town! Who could have possibly predicted this shocking turn of events?
