Through all, smile. Through the worst, smirk.
Monica blinks a little at the suggestion of a roommate. She didn't mind the idea of company but it would be the first time she had ever shared a home with someone since her parents. Made her wonder if she had any bad habits. It was a silly thought and a random one, she pushes it aside as she heard him ask about going to lunch with him and his sister and Molly. She liked Molly and it would be good for her to meet his sister.
"Lunch sounds great." She smiles and was wondering how often it was that Molly liked to pick on Dustin. For some reason she got the feeling that Molly was messing with Dustin some how but it was all play and friendly. That was a strange thing for her to suddenly notice, like the energy in the room was telling her all of this. Once more she pushes her strange thoughts aside, thinking that it was simply her noticing their body language. That had to be it.
It was the words about the demon that brought her out of her head completely. "Why....would you think that? It's been several years...." She didn't like the idea of seeing that creature again. With a lot of effort she pushed down the memory before it could start playing over again in her mind. Shivering a little, she rubs her arms slightly, the scars seeming to shift again.
