"I spent the entire time trying to sound more American," Daizi admitted, sitting down on the couch.
 
"It made it very difficult for Miss Jones to argue against us," Dark explained, "She had found proof some of your sources had been used by other students, and she had praised their use on their assignment, which made it clear there was bias."

"I can do an American accent fine enough, but it's hard to stay in it when I'm in the flesh," Daizi answered.
 
"Oof. I'm sorry," Alec winced. "That's pretty bad." He heaved a sigh. "Maybe I never should have even attempted to cover such a sensitive topic."

Xander punched him in the arm. "Like hell. It's not your fault."
