How Green Becomes Wood

"That's a good way to do it," Sloan agreed, "Everyone profits except for rich corporations that way, and that's the best way to live. We could also rob the Louvre, just because the last time that happened it was hilarious."

"Back in... 2025, I think, people broke into the Louvre by literally just putting a ladder up. I think they got away from it on like a moped or something, and stole millions of dollars worth in jewels." Sloan replied, "It was crazy."

"We so would. And Claire is a potter, so if she had a buisness, she and Xander could money launder for us," Sloan added, "Because if they makes it look like they sold more than they did, then it'll make it look like the money came legally."

"And having two places to launder instead of just one would make it easier to hide," Alec agreed. "You know, when I was younger, I thought laundering money meant you literally put money into a washing machine."

"My dad might not be particularly supportive, but my mother would love this kind of chaos. We should write all this down and at least consider writing a fun story. Kind of like Carmen Sandiego," Alec grinned.

"She would absolutely want to help, and Ba would be so annoyed and not want her to get into trouble," Alec chuckled. "I'd want to try to keep her in the dark, or use her as alabis or something, because Ivy would not like visiting her Mama in jail."

"We cannot get my little sister involved until she's at least a teen," Alec chuckled. "She's got to have some years of lighthearted innocence before she becomes hunted with the rest of us."

"We could do that, but I'll leave that up to one of her family members to be the one to stash it there," Sloan laughed. Then after a moment, she asked, "Do you think Emma would heist with us?"

"Oh, absolutely not," Alec said firmly. "She wouldn't even want to talk about something like this. It'd be 'silly' and 'unproductive.' I tell her that's the point, but some people just really struggle with fictional narratives." He shrugged as the people came over to ask about their nails.
