Carrying Ivy on his hip to make sure she didn't run off to get sticky again, Dark headed upstairs to check on his wife. Since she had just gotten out of the bath and put her robe on when he came in, he set Ivy down on the bed and went to help wrap her hair in a towel just because he loved her. Then, standing behind her, he rubbed her shoulders for a few moments before telling her to get back into bed, which, had Ivy not been babbling, she would've taken incorrectly.
"I can eat downstairs," She told him.
"Not on Mother's Day," He replied, handing her the fuzzy socks he had left on their heated towel rack.
