"Of course, I would love to see pictures," Dark said, turning towards them, "I did not expect you would have taken them today. Did Sloan find a good dress?"

"Just a few pictures of some of the fun ones," Alec said. "She did find a great one! But I don't think I'll show you that one until her prom pictures." He pulled out his phone, and the first picture he pulled up was a slightly tilted one of the yellow and black dress, complete with hat. Sloan's hand was coming up to snatch off the hat.

"I'm honestly surprised she put it on," Xander said. "Not half as surprised as I was when she put on a different one."

"I offered her choices," Xander told him.
"Moving on!" Alec chirped. He sat next to Dark and flipped through the photos, telling him excitedly all about where they'd gone and the highlights of their trip out. He hadn't taken pictures of all of the choices, but he did get most of them. He especially liked the one that had Sloan demanding a sword and Claire wishing for it in a pastel color. He made sure Dark knew Xander had picked that one, so they weren't all terrible choices. Maybe just no good prom choices. He stopped at the pictures he'd gotten of Claire trying on her two dresses and smiled sappily for a while before remembering to continue.

"Daizi would look wonderful in that red dress," Dark commented, allowing himself to picture it, "I agree it does deserve a sword. Seeing the pictures of Claire, he looked quickly at Alec's face, then back at the picture, "She is very pretty."

"Uh-huh," Alec agreed, trying to be casual about it. "She does look very good in those doesn't she? She's going as Sloan's friend date." He put his phone away quickly. "And that's all the pictures! We all have to wait until the prom ones now."
