Lynn nodded. She ran back to the pile and grabbed the knife first before heading to the other cage. She could barely see in the rain, and the wind threatened to blow her off course. She found the bird cage first. She hesitated then cut off the ties to let them out. Whether or not they left the cage was up to them, and broken wings and tied beaks and all, this was still a better chance for them than being locked in a cage.
The top dwellers' cage was a few strides away. Hastily, she sliced open the door and flung it open. Now back to the supplies. Hopefully, the other dwellers would follow, but right now she had to get everything into the cage and with Misty!
Meanwhile, Jonah had stood and was awkwardly trying to help Misty shift the body. It was slow going in their conditions, but it was better than Misty doing it by herself.
