Spellheart

Momoko gave a half-hearted smile, then dropped her ball back into her bag. She really, really hopes that Eryn isn't planning some sort of duel. She really wasn't up for it. With this hope in her heart, she starts walking down towards Flixber Avenue.

Maybe ten minutes later, Momoko steps onto the street. She runs a hand through her hair as she takes a slower walk down, looking around carefully for Eryn, honestly anticipating an ambush.

Eryn saw Mokoko through her window. She went outside and waved her hands. "YO, MOMO! OVER HERE!"
Then, Eryn saw another girl come. Her hair was sea blue, and her eyes were a fierce orange. She also had mild acne.
Eryn smiled. "KIBI! I'M OVER HERE!"
Kibi was a little behind Momo, though, they were about 75 meters away from each other.

Momoko moves her head quickly, eyes falling on Eryn. She gives a half-hearted wave, then looks over her shoulder to see who else had been invited. She doesn't know the girl, but her appearance is...quite vibrant. She wonders if her hair is dyed, and if her eyes are really that colour, before walking over to Eryn. "Hey, Eryn," she says slowly.

Eryn smiles. "Hey. How's life been treating ya? You can come in, if you wanna."
Eryn opened the door and made a "come in" gesture. "Ladies first."

Momoko rolls her eyes. "You're a lady yourself, you know," she says, as if it wasn't common knowledge. Even still, she walks through the door way. Quickly, she slips her bag off her shoulder and drops it to the side of the door with a sigh. She isn't expecting any moral support with the previous event of the day, considering the extra guest.

Eryn rolls her eyes. "Ya think I didn't know that? They're called manners, Momo. I thought you of all people would have heard of something like that."
As Momoko walks in, Eryn smirks deviously and shuts the door. It would be a while until Kibi made it. "So... I heard you passed the exam! Nice. Was it hard? Easy?" Eryn took a breath. "Ireallywannapasstheexam'causeIwannafendformyselfImeanI'mnineteenyearsoldIshouldbeabletodoit-" Another breath. "Besides that, how was your day?"

Momoko rolls her own eyes in response. "Yeah yeah, whatever," she says with a dismissive wave of her hand. She raises an eyebrow at mention of the exam, and then both at the sudden speedtalk. "Whoa, hey, chill out!" She put both of her hands out in front of her to tell Eryn to slow down. "Say all of that again, but slow this time," she says, speaking slowly herself as if to show how to do it.

Eryn sighed. "I really wanna pass the exam 'cause I wanna fend for myself. I mean, I'm nineteen years old, I should be able to do it!"
She sat down on the carpet floor. "I really want to make Spellheart proud, y'know? I don't want to be Random Citizen Number 14. Joining the military seems like a good way to do it." Eryn smiled. "I want everyone to love me! I can picture it now..." Eryn got up and squated, making her look like a wee young lass. "'Hi, Ms. Clover! You're my hero!'" Eryn saluted. "That's just my job, kid."

Momoko leant against the wall and snickered. "More like Random Citizen Number 280,654!" She scratched at her nose as she snickered again. "And I get it, but you can't just do it for the admiration!" She pushed off the wall. "How much does admiration mean if that kid gets attacked by some deplorable and you're too busy getting a bunch of praise to help them?"

Eryn chuckled. "Easy. I'll tell everyone 'Watch this' and through my rapier through the jerk's heart, easy-peasy."
You'd think she'd know how simple it would be.
Eryn stood up and faced Momo. "Momo, it's not that hard to get fame while doing something great. If I anted to do something like be a... I dunno, a lawyer, it would be harder, but I'm gonna be in the military!"
Eryn jumped into the air... before landing on her butt. "OW!" She shook her head. "I mean, I hope. I have combat experience, but this is life and death! If I die in there, and my parents are already dead, it will be the end of the Clover line-up-" Eryn got on her knees. "FOREVEEEEEEEEEER!"
Eryn stopped. "Oh, wait, I have a sister. But you know what I mean?"

Momoko rolled her eyes. "It's not that easy." She said. "First off, bendy rapier. Second off, you've not thought about armour. You really think your little blade is going to get through steel?" She poked Eryn in the chest. "No chance. You'll scratch him a little, sure, but then he'll just pull his own weapon and cut the kid up!"

"Then it's a good thing I'm not doing it completely alone."
Eryn walked to the door. "So are we gonna go on that jog or what?" She grinned as she walked over to Momo and poked her nose. "Don't. Poke. Me."

Momoko chuckles. "Have you just forgotten about Kibi-san?" She snickers, pointing outside the door.

Eryn scoffed. "As if. She's still there, taking her time. We can meet her where she is." Eryn sighed. "Me and her are totally opposites."

"Ah, so that's why she's so amazing!" Momoko exclaims, poking Eryn in the stomach again. Still snickering, she pushes down on the door handle and steps outside.

Eryn shakes her head. "No. Then she would be the opposite of you."
She rolls her eyes as she walks outside. "You sure you can do-"
"Hi, Eryn."
Eryn looked behind her, and Kibi was there. Eryn sighed. "What took you so long?"
"I dropped my purse. This is a designer's item, y'know."
"WHY'D YA BRING A PURSE TO A JOG?!"
"So I could carry my phone."
"Don't you have pockets?"
"Not on any of my sports clothes."
By the way, her "sports clothes" was a white, to-the-ankles dress. "WHATDDYA MEAN, 'SPORTS CLOTHES?!'"
Kibi rolled her eyes. "Eryn, don't freak out."
A vein throbbed in Eryn's forehead. Then, she sighed. "Let's get moving."

Momoko rolls her eyes and nudges Eryn with her elbow. She eyes Kibi tentatively. "You're...wearing a dress." She points out.

"A sports dress, thank you very much," Kibi corrects.
Before she lost her mind, Eryn was already fifty meters ahead.

Momoko blinks a few times. "It really just looks like a dress." She says with an awkward laugh. "Maybe we should start, though. Eryn'll get mad if we're slow."

"HELL YEAH I WILL!" Eryn screamed as she kept moving forward.
Kibi sighed and started to run forward. "So, what is you name?" She asks Momoko, facing her.
