Simon - Stahlhiem Streets

Simon watched as his old friend broke into tears and wrapped his arms tightly around her. He let his chin rest on the wolf girl's shoulder as she sobbed with tears pouring from her face. They stayed like that for what felt like a few minutes until Simon spoke softly "It's alright Coro" he then pushed Coro slightly to meet her eyes "We'll rescue him ok" determination filled his face "That's a promise from me" he then looked around as people averted their gaze at what was first some random people shouting then crying "It's pretty awkward here though" he whispered "Tell me about everything once we get to the dorm"
 
coro- Stahlhiem streets

Coro smiles and slowly nods agreeing with him. "We should get going then" coro then heads back to their dorm simon following behind her.
 
Simon - Stahlhiem College Dorms

The two of them made their way back to the Dorms. By now it was getting dark so Simon cleared a table filled with books and paper then lit a lamp. He dragged the table to the middle of the room where he placed two seats on either side sitting down on one of the chairs "So start from the beginning" he told Coro "Or if you don't want to don't but any sort of information might help us on what to do next"
 
Coro - dorms

Coro thinks for a moment before answering. "I dont think my life story is all that important to finding him all i know is that we got separated when we tried to cross the border into the empire he was clearly captured but i dont see why they would he's just a old druid" What coro had said conflicted with what and where she said she came from.
 
Simon - Dorms

"Yeah I figured" Simon rubbed his chin in thought "Well it didn't look like Thal knew anything about it although he could have been lying" he let the idea sit for a while "I think our best bet is to get in contact with Thal's dad wasn't he the one who wanted you to have the scroll? I'm sure I can set a meeting up in a little bit but that would need me to ask around. I think Thal's probably our best bet if we want to meet his dad so I'll just tell him you-... WE have business with his dad and I'm sure Lord Rando is expecting us anyway. Any disputes?"
 
Coro-dorms

"No nothing its just.. it doesn't make sense why anyone from any noble house would want something from me I own almost nothing and none of it is valuable." Coro lays her head on the table. "Any ideas?"
 
Simon - Dorms

Simon suppressed a smart assed look trying to remember that this was serious "Well it could be any number of reasons. But I think the likeliest is that he needs you for something. It's possible Lord Rando is using Cornelious ,was that his name, to try and make you do something. For what I don't know Maybe a job, Maybe they want you as a servant or-" Simon cleared his through then spoke in whisper "-It might have something to do with" he tried to think of a way to phrase it without offending her "What you are or maybe what's inside you. You've never actually clarified you just kind of seemed really ashamed of the whole thing"
 
coro- dorms

Coro is in deep thought for a moment. "I doubt they would want me as a servant.. im to hot tempered for that plus why go through all this trouble for one.. A job maybe it would make some sense and as for what i am-" Coro pauses for a moment. "Hey! what are you trying to say that im someones bastard child or something?!"
 
Simon -Dorm

Simon just shrugged "Again you haven't really explained the whole shapeshifting thing to well"
 
coro- dorm

"I dont even know how it happened i use to be weak and frail like you... no offense but uh one day years ago i got into a really bad... situation in a village on the outskirts of the empire and had to defend myself but there were to many and i was so much weaker then i am now i stood no chance I got hit in the head by something and blacked out and when i awoke i was like this." coro takes a moment to contemplate if she should continue or not. "I think... I think i killed them I dont remember any of it but i awoke the next day in a nearby field covered in blood and when i went back they were dead."
 
Simon - Dorm

"Doesn't matter now Coro.... The past is the past but you should keep that in mind in case it does come up" Simon looked out the window and saw that the moon was already high in the sky "You should get some rest. If it is a job we might not be able to sleep for a while" he made his way to the workbench in the room then started mixing liquids and powders from various cabinets "I'll try and keep it down"

Coro- Dorm

Coros face was priceless as she stared at him in shock. "You took that so well.... thats a little scary..." Coro then walks over to her bed and lays down Hagen taking his usual spot at the foot of the bed the two fall asleep within minutes.
 
Thal - Dorms

The Verdantkin walked up up and down the halls of the dorms alone, thinking of what happened at the Cafe. For the first time in his life he felt guilt, and it sickened him. He didn't want to feel that way again so for the past few hours he had thought about what to do about it and he might have found the solution. He walked up to Simon and Coro's quarters and knocked on the door in an attempt to garner their attentions.
 
Coro- Dorms

Coro was peacefully asleep until someone decided to start knocking on the door she slowly gets up and walks over to the door opening it. "what?" When coro realizes who it is she immediately slams the door shut. thal could hear the wolf girl speak through the door. "Im not going to apologize"
 
Thal - Dorms

"I would expect that." He said. "I simply came to give you some information if you were to have it." He told her.
 
Simon - Dorms

Simon saw Thal open the door then turned his seat to meet him "Welcome Lord Thal" he said. The death mage was also slightly worried about Coro and even though he wore a smile it seemed strained with his eyes focusing on the wolf girl.
 
Thal - Dorms

Thal looked around to see if anyone was eavesdropping. When he was sure no one was listening in he turned back to Coro to give her the information. "I know you wish to speak with my father. Well a week from now the army that is to create a foothold for the Empire will arrive. My father shall be there to supervise this gathering. I suspect he wishes to evaluate the overall strength of the Empire before making a political move. If you wish to meet him then that shall be the time to do so."
 
Simon - Dorms

"Thank you Lord Thal, Do you know who we should talk to so we can set up a meeting?" he hesitated a moment "I don't want to sound rude sire but why are you here? I mean why are you telling us this?"
 
coro-dorms

Coro walks back to her bed letting simon take over the conversation so it doesn't take a turn for the worst.
