Durbul-Stonefist
The Sanctuary

Durbul watched as the two left the building, Durbul wanted to follow the two outside, but he turned his attention to Errol and his new patient. Durbul didn't really know much about that art of healing.
Durbul stood from the bed and stood beside Errol. "Do you need anything? I don't know much about this healing stuff, but I am sure I could fetch a thing or two." Durbul said as he gestured to the injured person before him.

Durbul couldn't really fix anyone, all he did was ever cause pain. So this was a very strange change of pace.

"Don't you worry lass, Errol here is the most reliable man I know. He will make sure you get out nice and healthy. " Durbul said as he looked down at the stranger. He did not care for strangers, but Errol seemed concerned and Durule wanted to help him in whatever way possible.

Durbul then nudged Errol in playful manner. "I am getting paid for this right?" Durbul then let out a small chuckle at what he thought to be a hilarious joke. He wanted to break the ice, Durbul had always heard that laughter was the best medicine and it had always worked for him.

Errol almost smiled at Durbul's comment, but he couldn't help but sigh as he realized there was no helping the girl. "Unfortunately I don't think I can do much honestly. Since Xena cannot do anything the effects Wroth's body has on people with her magic, I'm pretty sure I can't possibly figure out anything to help you. The best I could do is probably give you some medicinal stuff to gain back some of your energy, but that's that. Which reminds me..." he glanced at Wroth who just walked back in on the Sanctuary again, sitting on on of the beds silently. That was fast. He studied him, raising an eyebrow. He looked terrible. "Well, you're not bloody. I would have thought you and the orc will trash the place out there. Shame." He glanced over at Durbul. "Hey, Durbul, a quick favor: can you look over at the counter right there, on the left most shelf? Get the syringe and three of the small clear vials. I may need it for later."

Errol looked around for a bit, and took the pouch Xena had been carrying in the clocktower. There was still her supplies there left, especially the berries, which he took and handed the girl, giving her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry this is the only thing I could do, but these should help you feel better somewhat. He placed a glass of water on her bedside table as well. I guess the best thing would still be plenty of rest. I'll make sure Xena will check up on you once she gets back."

"Sure, will be right back." Durbul made his way towards the counter and got the syringe and the three vials. Durbul tried he best to be careful with the small vials, he didn't want to break them. Satan knows how much this medicine costs. "This is the stuff right?" Durbul asked as he passed Errol the syringe and vials.

Durbul then noticed that Wroth had returned back inside. TO be honest he thought there was gonna be a fight, but its seems Durbul was mistaken. He wanted to ask Wroth with what had happened to Xena. When he chased her earlier, but it didn't seem like he was in the mood to answer questions.

"Alright then. Need anything else doc?" Durbul asked as he turned back around to face Errol.

Wroth
The Sanctuary

Literally twiddling his thumbs trying to process what just happened outside. Buttercuck, or more seriously Buttercup just threw him like he weighed nothing and then as if that humiliation wasn't bad enough a monster from hell comes out and stated a prophecy of damnation to both Xena and Maric and inferred that Wroth would suffer the same fate. What did I do to deserve this? A face filled with anxiety and fear with a hint of confusion... So much confusion.

What Errol said didn't even register, too focused on what happened, why it happened, and what the fuck he would do now..... He hated.... Loathed it. But right now he wanted someone to help him through all this bat-shit insanity, Errol wasn't exactly the most talkative or understanding of the group, Wroth just met Durbul and didn't think he would want to hear about a voice in his head telling of souls and unfinished business... That left Brynhild... True he just met her like but for some reason, he started to feel an attraction towards her. Not sexual.... Well, not completely sexual. But more like he a sort of kinship, felt she could understand him more than the others.

"No, it's o-"
Brynhild was about to respond to Errol when she stopped. She looked around for a moment, trying to figure out what was going on as she seemed to pick up on whispers. She stopped looking around as she realized it wasn't coming from outside but inside her head. She stopped for a minute and focused on the voice she was hearing. Once the voices stopped, she looked at the only person that could have been capable. Looking at Errol, she shook her head at the medicine. There was many people who set let heal her anyway besides her friend Los. "Thank you for the effort. I'll manage." she said. She hadn't really gave an answer to Wroth about her needing help, though she did appreciate it. Using her sword as a cane, she got to her feet wobbly and made her way to Wroth, looking at him with confused as she sat next to him. "Who was that Wroth? Was that...Legion?" she asked, recalling the name he had said earlier.

He stopped twiddling his fingers and picked his head up and looked at her straight in the face, bewilderment and a little bit of worry was shown. "Y. You, heard that?" Looking at Errol seeing if he had somehow also picked up on the mental conversation. Only to see that the emotionless man having the look of ignorance on his face. Chewing his lip Wroth responded. "Yes..... He.... It. Was Legion. Can you read minds?"

"Apparently, I can read yours. What was that about...when he gets out? And Xena's involved?" She had so many questions for him, no confused more than ever. "What the hell is going on?" she sighed as she sat back, her voice falling flat. Not only did she feel physically exhausted but drained mentally as well. "I need a drink."

Hands her some wine that he put down on the table next to him. "I know about as much as you. All I know is that this Legion thing, was sealed inside me I don't know how or why but he's clearly pissed about it and somehow, Xena and this Maric guy have something to do with it." Wait. She said that reading others minds was not an ability she had so why could she...! A new thought suddenly pops up in his head, he looked unnerved about it. "You might also be a part of all this since you are able to hear inside my head.... Or you were dragged into this."

Errol gave Durbul a look that was somewhere between amused and embarrassed. "Shut up, I'm no doctor." He took the vials from his old friend, as well as the syringe, not quite sure how to approach Wroth with them as he intended, now that he was having a conversation with the girl that was the patient. Something about a person named Legion, and that Xena may have something to do with it... He didn't seem like he was interested at all, but he was listening as he held one of the vials to the light, the clear, transparent liquid inside flowing against the glass walls as he turned it around. It was a substance Xena came up with herself, a preservative of sorts, specifically on keeping blood fresh---

The doors of the Sanctuary opened once again, and Errol couldn't help but sigh as he looked over. Who the hell is it this time? Better not be that orc... he thought, and as he looked over he saw her. His master... Xena. For some reason though, she looked... a little different. There was a glow to her expression, a pink tint in her cheeks and she definitely looked way better than when she left, but there was also... something else. Her eyes has a certain sparkle in it, one he had not seen before. Did something good happened today? he wondered, but then he realized she wasn't alone. Beside her another man entered the building: the incubus from earlier who talked to her in the garden. The orc's friend. His eyes drifted down to their joined hands, their grips a little too familiar and tight for it to be of any friendly gesture. He narrowed his eyes. Oh?

"Welcome back, Xena." he said with a small smile, and a respectful nod at the other visitor. Xena smiled a little at him, and then noticed the vials in his hand. She blinked, evidently recognizing it. "Why do you have that?" she asked. Errol simply shrugged and pointed at Wroth. "I was just going to ask him. You wanted his blood, didn't you?"

"You wanted his blood, didn't you?" Errol asked. Ah, that's right. She had asked Wroth to give her some blood to study, presumably for her to learn its effects and find out how to control it better, especially since the effects have gotten significantly more powerful and crazier since his transformation. Her bigger reason is to somehow find out how Wroth and Legion connect to the bigger picture that was her past, though. She glanced at Maric, knowing he is uncomfortable around Wroth, and squeezed his hand a little before letting go. "Thank you for walking me here, Maric. Do you have anywhere else to be? I'll be alright from here on out, so..." she said as she gave him a small reassuring smile, as she walked further inside the Sanctuary.

She then approached Wroth, her hands behind her as she regarded him. He looked terrible. I wonder why. "Hey... so do you mind if I take a blood sample from you, Wroth? Well, I'd have to stick a needle on you to get it, though, but it shouldn't hurt much." she said with a sheepish 'can't help it' smile. "What happened around here anyways? What did I miss while I'm gone?"

Brynhild gladly took the bottle from Wroth, downing a good portion of it. "So your horns could have dragged me into this." she muttered jokingly as she watched two new people come into the Sanctuary. Instantly, she recognized the girl from the Town Square as Xena, and the other person...she didn't know who the other person was.

She watched as Xena walked up to Wroth, asking questions about getting some of his blood. She quirked an eyebrow at the odd question before turning to glance at Wroth. "Maybe this could give us the answers we need." she said, her voice hopeful. Oh, how she hated being in the dark.

Sighing as he extended his right arm for Xena. "After this, we are talking. No running away and trying not to become an emotional fucking wreck. And that includes you to Maric! I don't fucking care how scared of me you are... I'm not the one you should be terrified of." he looked Brynhild in the eyes with a look trying to be brave and actually looking it. "I'm sorry I dragged you into this insanity I really am and I know it sounds weak and weird but... I... We need you."

Saying all this embarrassing shit swallowing his pride having to humble himself to these lower life.... Something about that didn't feel or sound right, but familiar very familiar. Wroth started Feeling a coldness run through his right arm like it was starting to freeze over. "JUST TAKE IT BEFORE HE TRIES ANYTHING ELSE!" Wroth yell as he felt the needle go into his arm and the bitter coldness he felt start to subside, damn. Maybe he overreacted, this shit is starting to make him become paranoid. The needle came into view.... The blood was now a pure black. No not pure, there were some tents of purple that seemed like royalty. "That's not my blood."

He smiled as Xena squeezed his hand. "If I didn't know any better I'd say you were trying to get rid of me." He said teasingly. He knew he should be getting back to the prison to report on his progress, but he didn't want to leave Xena's side, espescially not with Wroth here. It seemed like Wroth made the decision for him however, his screaming irritated Maric to no end. He'd always hated it when Wroth threw temper tantrums... didn't he? Another memory piece to add to the puzzle apparently.

His scream at Xena caused him to jump between the two of them, hand outstretched and ready to drain Wroth of his energy should he lose control. "We can have that talk Wroth, but you need to get a grip." He turned to Brynhild. "I don't know who you are or what your connection to him is, but he had no right to drag you into our affairs, it's not fair to you or to us." He then turned to Errol and Durbul. "I'm sorry for all the trouble mine and his presence seems to be causing. We'll have this situation dealt with shortly so could you give the three of us some time alone please?"

"JUST TAKE IT BEFORE HE TRIES ANYTHING ELSE!" Wroth yelled.

"Tch." Xena sounded under her breath, looking rather irritated. She knew exactly who he was. Maric jumped between herself and Wroth protectively, and she appreciated it, but she still resisted, stepping inside Wroth's personal space as she suddenly took the syringe from Errol's hands, taking the cap off with her mouth.Holding onto Wroth's arm firmly, she thrust the needle inside a vein. The blood came out black with purplish impurities. "That's not my blood." Wroth muttered. Xena nodded as she took the needle out and secured the cap back on. "No it isn't." she agreed. She'll place this sample in the vials later. A part of her was disappointed, she could have gotten a sample of the neon white blood as well. She held the syringe over her shoulder and Errol dutifully took it, securing the sample by the counter. Then, unhesitatingly, she suddenly placed her hand hand on Wroth's neck... and smiled.

"Hey... I remember a little bit now. Won't you come out to talk to an old friend?" she said with a dead serious tone. Her eyes were cold as steel. Her hand tightened on the man's throat only slightly. "I want answers... Legion."

Maric was saying something to the others but she was barely listening. When she realized he was telling them to give the three of them some time alone, she turned and met Errol's eyes. He was staring at her strangely, but at this moment she could not care less. "Errol." she muttered. "Please."

Errol
The Sanctuary

Errol didn't know what was happening. Why the four suddenly seemed so tense, why Wroth suddenly yelled as if he was afraid of something, and why Xena had looked so serious. There was a strange air of history between the three of them now, and he felt as if he was in the presence of something bigger. Xena turned to look at him and their eyes met. Why? Something was strange. Something has changed inside her. This person almost felt like a stranger. Gone was her gentle, concerned look, the gaze he so admired. Instead, there was a strange sparkle in her eyes, a strange sharpness in its expression, a strange... cruelty. It was the eyes of a person who had seen the darkness of the world... and has been a part of that very same darkness. Who are you? he could only wonder. Something was happening, something big, and as much as he wanted to know, to understand, to protect her from it... he was too late. He didn't belong at her side... at least not now. The only thing he could do... was heed to her wishes.

"Errol," she said, her voice hard and steely. "Please."
His expression didn't change at all as he murmured. "Xena?"
"Yes?"
"Will you be alright?"

She blinked, and there he saw it, a fragment of the Xena he knew, as she smiled sweetly at him, almost apologetically. "Yes. Don't worry about me, we'll settle this, E." His heart that was gripped with dread was suddenly soothed by a bubble of relief. There she is. She was not completely gone. He wanted to protect that innocent creature, that gentle being. But how? While all things are turning into chaos, how can he protect the only thing that was dear to him? The only thing he really cared about?

"Then... promise to explain everything when this is all over. Please." His eyes were intense as he said it. It was no request... it was a demand.

Xena nodded slowly. Errol nodded back, looking determined as he held Durbul's wrist, almost wanting to drag him out of the place. He needed some time to think. "Durbul, I'm sorry for letting you get into this whole ruckus, but we should leave. Let's go." he said, his gray eyes almost pleading. He then turned to the girl, the one that seemed to be caught up in this mess as well. "You too." he muttered.

Brynhild looked a Maric with a frown. "Well, your affairs now include me. I was the one to touch his horns so it isn't all his fault." She sighed as she shook her head, her anger rising. She knew next to nothing about what was going on and it angered her greatly. She was dragged into something that was larger than just her, and with Wroth asking her to stay only solidified her place in the issue. She watched as Xena tried to coax Legion out of Wroth with a worrying gaze, knowing for a fact that some of the whatever it was she had taken from Wroth was still running through her system. This was only proven as an ache began to take over her head, the same one from when she had heard Legion the first time from Wroth's head.

Wroth only looked worried as she said that and maybe got a little angry. "XENA WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU-" his head suddenly went limp. The air suddenly got colder as darkness seemed to envelop the room until it was pitch black. All the candles in the room lit at once illuminating... Yet paradoxically being of black fire, in fact now that everyone could see. The entire room was filled with black eldritch fire that neither burned nor scorched but they looked as if they could melt through steel like butter on a hot day.

Wroth's head slowly meet Xena's eyes his face being a grin as his eyes were pools of black ichor that started to run down his face like sickly tears. Red light where suddenly coming from the voids 3 slit pupils in each eye making 6. "Hello. Slut twins, it's me. Your old Devil. Legion." addressing both Maric and Xena his gaze not faltering for a second, it seems like he either didn't know Bryn was in the room or just ignored her completely.

Maric actually couldn't help but laugh as Legion spoke to them. He'd spent the entire day worried sick over this dark specter from a past he couldn't remember, and that's the first thing it says to them? He found it hilarious. "Oh, legion, apparently you've forgotten how to count in your old age. I'm the only slut in the room, and a reformed slut at that. Regardless, it's been quite a long time. How long exactly?" He asked, his eyes growing serious when he asked the question.

A grin formed on Xena's lips. An expression she would not usually wear... but that was before all these chaos happened. It was before she remembered. She had been so naive. She leaned in closer to their Devil, her hand in his neck choking him a little tighter, her fingernails digging slightly into his skin. "Interesting." she replied. "What happened to your broken language, Legion? You sound so coherent now. So... sane." she smiled bitterly. She could still remember the last time she had talked to this being, yesterday, although it felt so long ago. "I want answers, Legion. You do know, don't you? You remember... everything." her amber eyes narrowed. She can see it in his smug expression... bastard. She felt it in her chest, she felt a sea of immense hatred towards this monster.

~Brynhild Nyman- Sanctuary~
Bryn watched with wide eyes as Wroth went unconsious. Just as she was about to say something, the ache turned into a larger pain that had her gripping her head. Tears poured out of her eyes as she heard, who she could only assume was Legion, speak. With each word he spoke, her head throbbed. She seemed to be ignored by the others which was a good thing as she curled into herself, whimpering. She could only hope this conversation would end soon.

Didn't seem too impressed with her as she choked him and dug her nails into his flesh. "You still insist on using physical means to obtain information? I must admit, I am rather disappointed that you still cannot grasp the simple fact. That" Flames slowly coming from his scratching onto Xena's arms, not burning... But millions of voices started to scream inside her head, men, Women, and children. All the while Legion looks on at Maric and Xena with a disinterested look. "Your tricks of persuasion are nothing but a cheap. Messy. Borish. Waste of time and energy." Crossing his legs as a jet of flames slowly and gracefully formed into a throne. "Hallow threats. Nothing more. Nothing less. Almost as hallow as you are, Xena...... No not Xena or maybe. Hmmmmm" Rubbing his chin trying to figure out what now to call her and Maric. "Would you rather me refer to you two as shell and playboy? Or should I come up with some idiotic flower name like your companion 'Buttercup' maybe something like Black rose or something religious maybe false one? Oh, Don't think I've not come up with alternatives for you girl. Proprietor for the sick? Fictional life? No shell will do just nicely." His smug grin seeming to shine in the darkness as his eyes narrowed into dangerous slits. "However If you wish for me to talk about old times, you will regard me with proper respect and refer to me as. Your majesty. Otherwise, our short conversation is over."

Maric Vakarian - Sanctuary

His smile twitched as Legion brought Buttercup into the equation. He walked up to Legion, gripping Wroth's hair in his hand as he forced the eye slits to look at him. "Aww that's cute, even when locked away you still think you're superior." His smile faded as genuine rage filled his eyes. "Mention Buttercup again and I will drain you dry, this is our business, not his. You seem to forget that you submitted to me once before. Even without most of my memories, I assure you I can do it again." He was referring to the image in his brain of his body entwined with an angel. Legion. Somehow in the past, he'd managed to seduce this monstrosity. He must've thought better of returning though since all he feels is disgust towards the creature now.
