Prologue

Earth-616

Storm would be soaring in the sky above the Jean Grey school of higher learning. A new school day was starting and the headmistress was surveying the lands to see that everything was running smoothly. Suddenly she would feel the shifting in the winds before she vanished in a bright light.

Earth-9811

”Avengers assemble! Let's take this Sentinel down. On my right! Go, go!” In the battle ravaged city of New York the self crowned Avengers would be in the middle of liberating a safehouse for mutants against a Sentinel attack.

The one shouting directions was their leader Sarah Rogers, or if code names are concerned than Crusader. On her right arm the shield of her father, Captain America. In her left hand Mjolnir was spinning in her grasp. With a toss the hammer would find its mark and smash a giant hole in the abdomen of the Sentinel before it exploded. The celebration was short lived however as much like Storm, Crusader would as well vanish in a bright light, leaving her team mates mystified about where there leader might have disappeared to.

Unknown

As their senses returned, the two women would find themselves some place new entierly. Storm would spot Crusader by the corner of her eye and cause a small thunder storm to emerge as she herself went to the air. ”Are you behind this?”

”Mrs Munroe! It's me! Sarah!”
Crusader cried out.

Storm would notice the hammer by the girls side and the shield on her arm. While still cautious the thunder storm would relent ever so slightly. “You know my name but you have me at a disadvantage.”

Crusader would look confused at Storm. It was her friend Kendall's mother all right, but she looked so young... “I...I'm Sarah Rogers. The Crusader. My father is Steve Rogers and my mother is Rogue, Carol Danvers. I know your daughter, Kendall Logan.”

Kendall...Logan...? The thunder would subside and Storm would land back on the ground. “It would appear that we need to talk.”

Both sides would then recount their stories. Crusader about how after Reed Richards, Galactus and the Beyonder had perished on Battleworld and so left the heroes and villains stranded there to forge a new life for themselves to put an end to the violence. Then how Dr Doom's son would have tried to take over Battleworld and how he was stopped and finally how the new generation of heroes would have returned to their Earth to find it being ravaged by the Sentinels.

Storm in turn would explain how in her reality Reed and the two celestial beings would have survived and they were all sent back home and how life had gone on as it should have.

“...I am sorry to hear about Mr Logan.” Crusader finally replied as both had told their tale.

Storm would smile a sad smile at Crusader. “Thank you, but now with our stories told I believe there are more pressing matters to be had. The most important one being, where we are.”

Crusader would shrug. “I have no clue.” Before they could continue any further however they would keel over due to a splitting pain in the head. Images of death and destruction, multiversal war and in the center of it all a magnificent demon of unknown origin. As the pain subsided but before they could process it further the sky above them would turn black and ominous as another portal would emerge and suck them in dropping them in a post-apocalyptic city, and it seemed like they weren't alone.

“By the Goddess...” Storm mumbled softly to herself as she got up on shaky legs. “Stay close, Crusader. We were brought together for a reason. It was no coincidence that we received that mental image before arriving in this desolate place.”

Crusader would nod as she clutched Mjolnir tight and inspected the area around her. “My God...this place. What happened here...”

“Evil happened here.” Storm stated grimly. “And I will see to it that who or whatever did this will be brought to justice.”

Kalifa said:
"Bombs? Wasteland?" Kalifa asked.

She wondered if the Wanderer was discussing something like the Buster Call, or whether he was discussing some sort of super-weapon.

Kalifa recognized Plutia from the Coalition Headquarters. "I see you made it here as well. A certain prosecutor noted your unusual enthusiasm."
Riley sighed. "I come from a place formerly called Washington DC. It is now called The Capital Wasteland. In the year 2077, after rising tensions, a nation known as China Dropped Nuclear Weapons, which cause massive destruction, devastating the land forever." Riley shifted his Gauss Rifle, and polished his Katana, which he had received on Mothership Zeta. "We were put in Vaults, which protect from radiation."

Legolas shook her hand. It was the first time he shook hands with a human female, he realized. It was much more... pleasant that with a male. He then looked at Frank. "And you are?'
Frank was less warm in his introduction. "Frank Castle." He did not offer his hand to shake. By their appearances and his advanced age, they were likely related. His face seemed set in a scowl

Lisa smiled faintly. "Don't mind him."

Joseph looked genuinely impressed with Wander's list of skills. 'In a life-or-death situation, I'll be back-to-back with this guy. What kind of beings do you slay?'
Joseph returned to an almost serious demanour when talking to Ridley again. 'Now, why would they think that? The worst thing I can imagine about you right now is a future of tooth cavities.'

"We shall find higher ground," Legolas said, gesturing to Lisa and Frank, "I suggest you all do as well." He went towards the others, and waited for them to recommend a direction, and continued to scan the area for any places not under threat of falling structures.
Bayonetta smiled. With a glimmer in her eye. "Higher ground, you say?"

She took to the air and surveyed it, to see if there were any hills or mountains or anything that was a safe place within a walking distance for the group. This was New York City, after all, and she wasn't expecting to see anything that could be reached easily on foot.

Wander's face takes on a grim visage, and he almost seems a little older as he opens his mouth to speak. "Well, that's.....hard to explain. They're called colossi. Titanic monsters, flesh, stone, metal, and fur melded into abominable shapes. I was tasked with the destruction of sixteen of these colossi, by a.......spirit, of sorts. A powerful being named Dormin, and I'd like to resume my task as quickly as I can."

Lisa and Frank both looked up and blinked, but neither seemed very surprised. There were stranger things than Bayonetta where they came from. They just wondered what she'd see.

Izana, with his rider Ace, can be seen gliding down, the benefit of having a winged dragon would be in that one such creature would be harder to knock to the ground from on high without some sort of partial recovery thanks to his tremendous wings. fluttering them a few times, creating powerful blasts of wind below the two, He folds his wings and thuds to the ground far enough away from the skyscraper to not harm the buildings structure any further then it already seems to be. glancing around, Ace disappears from Izana's back, and, though it drains his energy to do this, and as he had been unaware of the mixup between dimentions, he makes sure his magic helps his voice carry.

"The Nameless Tome of Orience has a quote that fits the Coalition and its involvement here. allow me to enlighten you." silence surrounds them all, but cards are fluttering in circles that would be deadly to try and interfere with, like a thousand deadly razorblades flying through the air, also causing Izana to make himself as small as he can.

"
Only the chosen
may enter that land
the chosen will touch all of creation
and obtain that which is truth
it is reason outside of reason
the reason of Agito
it is power
the authority of Agito
and the sage proclaims:
in all things there is meaning
in all things, mourning will end.
Make your choice:
Will you choose reason,
Or the power of kings?
I will become Agito
I will Sound the Knell,
to shake all the world
when 9 and 9 meet 9,
the depths of reason shall stir.
When the seal of creation is broken,
a voice like thunder shall sound,
and thou shalt know,
we have arrived!!!"

Ace's last line echos for a bit after the silence, before his cards start to shrink slowly inwards and form what could only be described as a furiously spinning gyro scope, before they all vanish in an almost pixie-dust sparkling sort, and the blonde Teenage cadet would be standing in the middle with a hand of several cards held across his face. "The Coalition HAS arrived." he strikes the cards into the ground, and they also vanish in the very same way. Izana, after detecting the safety of the environment, lifts himself to his hind legs and gives powerful blasts from his wings as well as a jet of bright, hot blue flames aimed into the air as he lets out a loud roar of agreement. "We HAVE arrived, Ace, and our job is only beginning. Shall we put an end to this...this...Sadist?" Ace nods, glancing about at everyone, fully aware some may betray them, but, as he is sided with a medium sized dragon this time, he feels more confident he will not die, as they'd have to kill Izana first.

he blonde looked at the others and was glad. Hopefully they could work together to get through this safely. She would go through with anything. As long as she were to get back home - alive - to see everyone. Looking down at her side, she saw that all of her keys were still there. Good. She couldn't bear to lose them. They were her everything; next to Fairy Tail and her guildmates.

She waited silently and patiently, waiting for everyone with a little frown on her lips. The teen missed her friends very much.

May be my last post of the night, too. Assume Luce is following as well.

The city, unfortunately, is in complete shambles. What might have been an easy travel by foot or public transportation is now a gruelling trek across fallen skyscrapers and a resurgence of wild plant life.

Nothing immediately stands out to you as somewhere that looks particularly more safe than any other. If you look for movement, you do see something-- but it is only a deer. A flock of birds fly by overhead, their white feathers glowing in the dull skies above. If humans are here, they are definitely in hiding.

Ridley just shrugged, at this. "That's quite the story. I'll have to save it for after we defeat the psycho-demon. Sound fair?" She was just as serious, just more.. Nonchalant. Her eyes then shifted to Wander. "Jeez, Pipsqueak.. Sounds like a sweet deal."

What is she, Legolas wondered as he saw her take off, extending wings at her back in the process. She wasn't grotesque or ugly at all despite that... completely the opposite. He would wait later before asking those burning questions.

He then turned to Lisa. "Is he... your father?", he asked her.

While Lapis was quite unsure on how to actually help with this, the Pokemon trainer did get an idea. With Pikachu keeping close, Red pulls out another pokeball, and sends out his only Flying type pokemon: Charizard.

charizard.png

Sure, Charizard was a pretty intimidating Fire type pokemon, but Red made several gestures to show that all of these people weren't of harm to himself and Charizard.

"... first a yellow rodent, now a flying fire lizard... next you'll probably have a living plant or a turtle that can shoot water like a powered fire hose," Lapis loosely commented on Red's pokemon so far, which were Pikachu and Charizard.

Frank Castle said:
He was old, and it showed. His voice was gruff and unfriendly. "No. No bounties. Just want him dead.
It was Kaku who answered. He found the armed man's response very interesting. It was possible this man had a few things in common with some of the Marines he knew, including Admiral Akainu.

"So you're not interested in any reward? Do you want him dead in the name of justice, or do you have a personal score to settle?" Kaku asked.

Crusader would shrug. “I have no clue.” Before they could continue any further however they would keel over due to a splitting pain in the head. Kalifa turned to the two new women. "That is precisely what the rest of us are here to do." Kalifa responded. "I am Kalifa, my colleague is Kaku. With us is Riley, the Lone Wanderer. We have joined forces with a Coalition against the Arch Demon Akibahara. He is currently wanted dead or alive in several different worlds for horrific acts of murder, mass murder, destruction, and chaos. It's reasonable to guess that the Arch Demon is responsible for the destruction of this city."
Riley sighed. "I come from a place formerly called Washington DC. It is now called The Capital Wasteland. On the outside, Kalifa remained her normal stoic self. Inside, however, she shivered. Such superweapons were feared by the World Government. If such things ended up in the wrong hands, the whole world could be destroyed. And it sounded like the Wanderer's world already had.

"It sounds like you don't have much to go back to." Kalifa remarked. "Are you hoping that the Coalition will find you a new world?"

Joseph nodded at Ridley. 'I understand. We all have secrets-It's just my job to uncover them.'
However, he stared in wonderment at the Dragon. He knelt down on one knee. He knew that Dragons tended to be very honourable, so they favoured this kind of behaviour. Despite how much he'd heard about the Dragons of old. He'd never met one in person. That had just changed. 'Your majesty! I didn't expect your presence here. Are you a relative of the Mighty Gwyn? Or are you another of the Old High Dragons? Your might will surely bring devastation to our enemies, and victory to our allies.'
Needless to say, he was keen to get into the Dragon's good books.

"It all looks the same no matter where you go in the city. And New York is a rather sizable city. No safe higher ground, I'm afraid." She looked upwards at some of the crumbling buildings. "We can only do our part to be wary of this rather dangerous situation." She looked at Lisa as she said it, hoping she wouldn't get hit by more debris.

"Yes," Came Frank's laconic answer.

"Hmm." Kaku replied. "So does that mean you are doing it for justice AND for personal reasons? May I ask what the Arch Demon did for you to seek revenge?"

He paused. "I'd just like to know more about the people we'll be working with."
