Sneaking away from Red and Charizard for a bit, Pikachu happened to take notice of some more Pokemon friends down the line. Heck, he even seemed attracted to Jupiter.
"Pika pika pi!"
("Hey hey, Pikachu's here!")
While Jupiter would get the idea that Pikachu was attracted to her, Pikachu just seemed like he wanted to tag along with them. How is it that Red hasn't noticed Pikachu wandering off yet?
"Ahaha, my, my. The two of them are quite energetic, huh? Like childish siblings going at each other," Shiki commented light-heartedly, watching their interactions unfold on the side, "I'm assuming you're familiar with those... things. Interesting looking familiars, I'll say. What kind of special abilities do they have?"
"... Demons, huh?" Shiki replied, putting a hand to his chin in thought. Curious. If they truly were unfamiliar demons in that case, surely, his blood that reacted to demonic, non-human entities would have been triggered by their existence, and something bad might happen should anything happen with them.
And then while Naoya and Abel were playing with the mysterious not-demons and not-familiars called pokeemans or something, Shiki would take note of the young woman who... somehow faceplanted after flying through the air and surviving without too many injuries... except a bit tongue, apparently.Revya then proceeded to do a faceplant into the ground at three hundred miles per hour. Yup. Definite goner. No way anyone could survive that. Pretty good Revya. You almost beat your previous record in the last Murder Tale. Ahaahha.
"Ow ow ow ow..."
Oh shit, you're alive. Forget I said anything.
As the dust cleared, Revya stood up and patted herself down.
She looked... well, perfectly healthy.
"I think I bit my tongue."
Except she bit her tongue.

While Pikachu was pretty cute, he didn't like strangers getting so close for contact, so... Pikachu had one way of doing it.
"You and your father are soldiers then? What army did you serve in?"
Claire said:"I wasn't suggesting we do anything like that," Claire said, a bit of an edge in her voice. She felt more wary then ever now, like she was being judged at every angle. It was almost suffocating, and yet Claire knew it to be almost entirely in her head. Knowing that didn't help at all. "It's just... easier to search in a smaller group in this situation. We're not trying to find a missing child here-- we're in a dangerous place." Certainly not the most dangerous Claire had ever experienced, but she wasn't intent on finding out whatever this ruined version of New York was hiding. She relaxed a little when Aqua basically agreed with what she was saying. Claire gave the girl a smile.
"Let's get going then. The sun's out, but I doubt it'll stick around for much longer." The boys seemed distracted by the animals-- er, the talking animals, but that wasn't very surprising at this point-- so as Claire moved to cross the field of debris, she found herself stopping and staring at them. "Is now really the time?" she asked.
