The Vampire's Apprentice

Clancy frowned slightly. "My silliest fear?" He thought about this. "I cannot answer that one. I cannot think of anything at all. I suppose I shall tell you if I do. Next question?"

Kitty laughed. Of course that was it! "I'm glad I've made an impact," she said, no longer able to keep from grinning.

"I think you could make an impact on anything or anyone you put your mind to," Clancy chuckled. "For better and... well, mostly better."

"Hmm...." She thought for a second, biting gently at her thumb. Kitty tucked the pencil behind her ear again. "What have you always wanted to try but never found the courage to do?"

"Hmm..." Clancy folded his arms. "I am rather limited with this... I believe being able to perform with an instrement to a crowd, perhaps. I have never had the courage to become a musician."

"No, no I cannot," Clancy admitted. "I would like to, I suppose, but I could never settle on one. Besides, moving constantly is hard on an instrament."

"Hm. You do have a point." She nodded slowly. "There might be something smaller out there you could take with you. Harmonicas are good for that, I think."

"Ahh...." She understood. "Okay. Just a thought." Kitty shrugged, then changed the topic. "I-is Mrs. Mooney alright?"

"I... don't know." She admitted. "It's better to ask than to not, I guess. I still worry for people. I worry for you, even though you're alright now." Kitty pointed out.

Kitty nodded, relieved. "That's good.... I don't believe I have anything else in dire need of asking." She said. "Unless there's something you had to ask me?"
