Bayonetta then returned to ground level to let them know what she saw.

"It all looks the same no matter where you go in the city. And New York is a rather sizable city. No safe higher ground, I'm afraid." She looked upwards at some of the crumbling buildings. "We can only do our part to be wary of this rather dangerous situation." She looked at Lisa as she said it, hoping she wouldn't get hit by more debris.

Kalifa turned to Bayonetta. "Bayonetta, was it?" she asked.

"Usually, most cities have at least one city park or something. If people are worried about buildings falling on them, I'd suggest that they head to one of those parks."

Joseph nodded at Ridley. 'I understand. We all have secrets-It's just my job to uncover them.'
However, he stared in wonderment at the Dragon. He knelt down on one knee. He knew that Dragons tended to be very honourable, so they favoured this kind of behaviour. Despite how much he'd heard about the Dragons of old. He'd never met one in person. That had just changed. 'Your majesty! I didn't expect your presence here. Are you a relative of the Mighty Gwyn? Or are you another of the Old High Dragons? Your might will surely bring devastation to our enemies, and victory to our allies.'
Needless to say, he was keen to get into the Dragon's good books.

Ridley grinned, at this. "Hah. Well, I'll go ahead and warn ya, then: I'm one tough shell to crack. Or however that saying goes." She seemed to lack any interest in the dragon.. But was amused by the way Joseph reacted to it.

Meanwhile, Teresa just stayed just off to the side, shifting awkwardly and unsure what to do or say.​

Lisa nodded. It was as she expected. "Basically, we have to hope these buildings don't collapse and kill us."

Kalifa turned to Bayonetta. "Bayonetta, was it?" she asked.

"Usually, most cities have at least one city park or something. If people are worried about buildings falling on them, I'd suggest that they head to one of those parks."

"Ma'am... that'd be one awful big park to be safe from a falling skyscraper." Lisa raised an eyebrow.

"Hmm." Kaku replied. "So does that mean you are doing it for justice AND for personal reasons? May I ask what the Arch Demon did for you to seek revenge?"

He paused. "I'd just like to know more about the people we'll be working with."

"It became personal the same moment I decided justice was required." Frank wasn't much for explaining his family to total strangers.​

Kalifa turned to Bayonetta. "Bayonetta, was it?" she asked.

"Usually, most cities have at least one city park or something. If people are worried about buildings falling on them, I'd suggest that they head to one of those parks."

"Well, I'm not one of those worried about anything really," Bayonetta replied, sounding arrogant but truthful, "though I do not recall seeing anything that resembled a park. Or people, strangely. I would not be able to wager a guess as to where they all may be."

She briefly though of going alone to search the area. It was something, with her speed and abilities, that wouldn't take long. But, for the sake of the team, she thought against it. She was slightly getting used to this team concept that everyone here seemed to be in love with.

Izana looks at the man treating him like a king. Sure, he may have at one time been a part of a royal family, but all that changesd with his tragic past, and he became nothing more than a common dragon, if such a creature could be considered common. "Please, My name is Izana. I know not of which you speak, but I am not hard to get along with. Don't try to hurt me, or my friends, and we'll get along famously." He smiles softly, trying his best to not be intimidating. Ace, however, walks up to the others. "Hello. I'm Ace, and yes, tghat is my name, even if it is named after the #1 card in a card deck." He chuckles sheepishly. "Mother Arecial Al-Recia, the Archsorceress wasn't exactly creative with her children's names. Jack, Queen, Ace, Nine, eight, trey, and so on."

Kalifa turned to the two new women. "That is precisely what the rest of us are here to do." Kalifa responded. "I am Kalifa, my colleague is Kaku. With us is Riley, the Lone Wanderer. We have joined forces with a Coalition against the Arch Demon Akibahara. He is currently wanted dead or alive in several different worlds for horrific acts of murder, mass murder, destruction, and chaos. It's reasonable to guess that the Arch Demon is responsible for the destruction of this city."

Storm would turn to face the woman addressing her. "I see, then, mine and Crusaders arrival was no coincidence." Storm replied as she looked around the city. She was no stranger to demons, in fact demons had been one of the first foes she faced when she had first joined the X-Men. "I am Storm and you will have my aid in this endeavor."

"And mine." Crusader replied before floating up into the air. "I'm going to take a look from above and see if I there's anything unusual."

"Be careful, we don't know what we will be facing here."

"Don't worry ma'am I will."

Crusader replied flying high into the sky to survey the area.

While the two had just met a bond was beginning to form between, or that was what Crusader was hoping at least. This Storm was much like the one she knew, maybe a bit more headstrong and free. For the time being it didn't matter though, they had a demon to fight.

"Yes," Came Frank's laconic answer.

"The Punisher..." While they had never met his reputation preceded him. This man felt different though, her Punisher was only certainly in his 40s and not the old man standing in front of her. More than likely an Alternative Universe version yet again. Storm couldn't help but chuckle to that. What's next? A Logan who was dating Hercules?

Kalifa shrugged. "Some of the rest of you are powerful enough. I've been told about this Bayonetta, for example. She can probably easily shove a falling skyscraper to the opposite direction from us."

"And Kaku and I both did a Tempest Kick on one of the buildings earlier. With all this in mind, we shouldn't have to worry ... unless you're concerned that there might be other survivors in this city that could be harmed by our hitting the collapsing structures."

"It became personal the same moment I decided justice was required." Frank wasn't much for explaining his family to total strangers.

"Frank." She approached him, remembering their time together during the Monokuma's game. "I hope you are doing well."

"And mine." Crusader replied before floating up into the air. "I'm going to take a look from above and see if I there's anything unusual."

"Be careful, we don't know what we will be facing here."

"Don't worry ma'am I will."

Crusader replied flying high into the sky to survey the area.
While the two had just met a bond was beginning to form between, or that was what Crusader was hoping at least. This Storm was much like the one she knew, maybe a bit more headstrong and free. For the time being it didn't matter though, they had a demon to fight.​

What you see is not entirely different than what Bayonetta just saw. The city looks uninhabitable by man at first glance, but that was unlikely to be entirely true. In any case, nothing looks entirely safe for your group to move toward, as everything looks like it could collapse at any moment. Perhaps a strong gust of wind, or the perching of a bird...

You spot movement. You might at first think its an animal, it doesn't seem to be so. You think it could be a robot, but it moves out of sight as quickly as it appeared, and you can't seem to spot it again. Who knows if it even really was there.​

He takes a breath for a moment, before looking at the blade. "What all do I need to do to it, Breathe on it? and PLEASE, just Izana. if you don't like Izana, FireDrake or Fire would do." Grail looked at her, a bit disgusted. But payed no atention to it and looked at Travis.

Her eye now completely healed after eating, Emily stared at everyone and ignored the conflicts arising. It wasn't her place to mess with how people interacted, much less how they were fighting. In fact, her entire life was solved by money, guns and blood. None of this other bullshit affected her. She liked Georgie Macgregor, a name that meant nothing to everyone else. The strongest man on Phase 4 was brought down by someone who could take a lickin and keep on tickin. That was the country side of her- not good that that came out. She continued to sit in silence before finishing the snack, the bones in her head even starting to integrate back together.

Crusader was ready to head after it but realized that leaving the group was not the best course of action.

"What did you see?" Storm asked as Crusader landed.

"That everything looks so brittle that it will fall to pieces when I look at it funny...and something moving. It was too fast I couldn't tell what it was."

"The best course of action would be to stick together then." Storm replied before looking up at the dull, grey sky. "Perhaps our disposition will be more positive with some light." Storm would use her power over the weather to shift the weather and part the clouds letting the sun come out and shine down on them.

Riley sighed. "No. I am seen as a protector of that world. I am considered a hero. I brought clean water to that land, I destroyed the Enclave, which sought to destroy it even more." Riley put his Katana away. "I am only 20. I have a long life ahead of me."

Kalifa nodded. "So you're trying to preserve what's left of your world. And what of this Enclave? Why were they trying to finish the job? Did your world have knowledge that was forbidden? Knowledge that they feared would cause great chaos?"

Joseph stood up, but held the sword in both hands, infront of him. 'Okay, Izana. Yep, that's all you have to do. Breathe on the sword. It imbues the sword with the Ascendant strength of The Dragons. It's a fascinating piece of magic.'
Meanwhile, he handed Ace his card:

Izana, while looking at Ace, Whom Shrugs his lack of understanding, leans down and gives a puff on the blade, the wind a little storng, as he hasn't quite learned how to control it as he has his Flames, but he successfully breathes on it. "Like that?"

Ace looks at the card, before snapping his fingers, and a smaller version of one of his shows up in Joseph's hand.

Riley shrugged. "I don't know. The Brotherhood of Steel wanted to give water to the people, and rebuild the Wasteland. The Enclave wanted me to poison it. I refused." He sighed. "The secrets of my world are unknown, which is why I wandered off, to seek them." He adjusted his Gauss Rifle. "I can run reconnaissance. I'm familiar with Ruined cities like this."

Castle glared at Storm. The recognition by someone from his world was irrelevant. He was a little nicer to Bayonetta... a lot nicer. "Actually... yes."

Bayonetta smiled. "Beautiful," she said, as she noticed a younger female with Frank. And the resemblance... "is she, your daughter Frank?" she asked. It wasn't too much of Bayonetta's personality to look after younger ones involved in this dangerous game, but it seemed this one could at least take care of herself better than the others, at least. "Regardless, I do hope we're able to succeed again, this time."

Riley shrugged. "I don't know. The Brotherhood of Steel wanted to give water to the people, and rebuild the Wasteland. The Enclave wanted me to poison it. I refused." He sighed. "The secrets of my world are unknown, which is why I wandered off, to seek them." He adjusted his Gauss Rifle. "I can run reconnaissance. I'm familiar with Ruined cities like this."​

"The newcomer Storm sent her acquaintance on a scouting mission. I suppose her being able to fly helped a bit." Kalifa noted.

Wandering off to seek the secrets of his world. In that regard, the Wanderer had something in common with Nico Robin.

"I would be careful about seeking out the secrets of your world. There might be people out there who believe that some things should remain hidden."

"I suppose it doesn't matter right now since we're not on your world. At the moment, all we have to investigate are some ruined buildings and weeds."
