Changes

Serina fell silent for a while. They had a lot to deal with still. Her brother was on that list but strangely enough, she felt the need to do something else first.

Biting her lip, she wondered how long either Damien or her could hold out. Then again why were they waiting?

Moving to her feet, she excuses herself and goes in search of Damien.

Lisa watched after her daughter for a moment and shakes her head then looks to Maelith. "You okay?"
 
Maelith shook her head, "It's funny when you know you are going to die and there is nothing to do about but let it happen," She glanced up at the woman next to her, "This world is cruel and there is no one that knows that better than me. Your son. His soul is like my own. I don't know if he has remembered yet. There is a chance he has. My magic is in him because he was my mate who was dying in my arms. I did the only thing I thought would keep him with me. It didn't. It fractured his the bond we had. Changed how he saw me."

She closed her eyes as she leaned back slightly relaxing for now.

Damien sat on a rock staring up at the ever growing dark sky. The stars just staring to show themselves along with the sliver of moon that hung among them all. He tilted his head and glanced at Serina as she came out of the barrier, "Hey."
 
Lisa tenses at those words. "Are you sure that there isn't a chance of changing any of it...." she asks carefully to her. She found herself being selfish. She didn't want to lose her son but she didn't want to lose Maelith as well.

Serina smiles softly to Damien and moves over to him. "Hey." She says softly. She looks to the sky. "It looks beautiful tonight.."
 
Maelith shook her head, "Not unless I can pull the magic from him," She explained, "Once that happens there's no telling what would happen."

Damien smiled as he held out a hand for her to join him, "I like the desert. We aren't far from where I grew up. We may go see my family at some point but much later."
 
Lisa nods a little. "How exactly do you pull magic from someone?" She asks curiously.

Serina smiles softly and she takes his hand and sits by him. "Meeting the family?" She smiles a little. "I hope by that time I learn more about how to be around other dragons. I really don't what to cross a line or anything. " She says smiling a bit though it was strange that she felt nervous about meeting his family.
 
Leaning back Maelith thought the question over, "You have to reach into their soul with your own," She says softly, "It's hard to explain."

Damien caught her chin to kiss her "Oh don't worry about that. My mom would love to teach someone. Though I must warn you that she can be rather hard on others but she does it out of love. My father even more so but quiet. Also... I have a sister who is already married who is calmer than any one in the family."
 
Lisa nods a bit. "So it would probably help if he was restrained then..."

Serina kisses him softly. "I'm used to hard....you saw how my father was with me..." she says softly.
 
Maelith nodded, "Likely," She frowned as she pulled her knees up to her chest, "I'm glad I could help another love grow though no matter if this mess is my doing. They will be amazing together."

Damien didn't respond to her statement as he drew her closer and kissed her with a deep fury that he had been bottling up inside, "Surely you know what you do to me," He said before he picked her up and carried her into a cave that extended deep into the rock face.
 
Lisa nods a bit. "There is still hope for other things." She says to Maelith and she would do all she could for the woman as well as her son.

Serina was giggling after the kiss. As he carried her away she touched his cheek softly." I know too well what I do to you my love." She starts to blush again. "But you must know...I've never been with anyone before.."
 
His eyes took on a gentle glow as he found an old bed and laid her down on it, "I'm sorry I can't take you in what would be our bed. We will likely be moving here as I think that place might be ruined. Hopefully not..." He kissed her, "I know," The fact that he wasn't new to lovemaking saddened him slightly, "I wish I would say the same."

Maelith smiled slightly, "Hope is all you need."
 
Serina relaxed ,trusting him completely.

Lisa smiles softly and nods. "Yes and we will get a plan together." She nods and moves to her feet. "Need to find the other two so we can come up with something."
 
Maelith glances up, "Don't go bothering the new lovebirds," She smiled and gave a wink, "They need sometime together alone. We can construct a plan of action between us for now. As for Taelie and Morty. Taelie will know what I know. Just as I know what she knows. And she saw two lovebirds making a nest."

Damien was gentle as the made passionate love. He would never hurt her. After a few hours they would fall asleep. The male woke some time later and rubbed a hand through his hair only to find band similar to his tattoo around his entire fore arm.
 
Lisa hesitated. It was hard for a mother to hear such things but knew her daughter wasn't a child anymore either. She goes back to Maelith and nods. "Let's make a plan then."

Serina was still asleep beside him. She stirs a little but snuggles closer to him and relaxes again. After a few more moments she woke, blinking her eyes sleepily, she looks to him smiling warmly.
 
Maelith smiled, "Do you have any suggestions? I'm of little use being human like I am."

Damien blinked down at Serina then smiled, "Hey," he held his arm out so she could see the band, "We are officially tied."
 
Lisa smiles a bit. "At least you have your past lives for info. I'm all human." She teased then nods. "Well he is still my son so why not lure him in. Over power him and trap him." She suggested.

Serina smiles warmly as she saw the marks. "They are beautiful. " She says to him. She looks to her own arm curiously.
 
Maelith nodded, "If you think it would work."

Damien watched her. Females didn't form bands like his own just florishes around they heart point. He pointed to his chest, "Females bond marks show up here."
 
Lisa nods a bit. "It will have to be done right to trick him but it could work."

Serina looks to where he pointed and then looks to her chest to see the change. She smiles softly to him and then kisses him. "This is so amazing."
 
He kisses her back as he pulled her tight, "We should go check on things," the male told her as he pulled her cloths closer as well as his own. Once dressed he lead her back to the main area and into the barrier.

Maelith blinked as she glanced over at the pair, "Heyo," She called out.
 
Serina pouts at him but then nods in agreement and went with him after getting dressed.

She was glowing a bit as they joined with the others.

Lisa arched a brow at the two then shakes her head.
 
Damien yawned slightly as they stepped inside. Greeted he flipped Maelith off, "Hush you." he huffed as he stretch then moved over to the pool of water. He splashed his face with the cool water and sighed happily, "What ya'll chatting about?"

"A massive pain in the back," She states.
